The thing that I liked most about the C90s was on their facebook page, under the biography section. It simply says, “buddies making music”. The end result of London based friends Danny & Jamie is dancy-indie-disco fun.
Both of the tracks we’ve included have a similar sound to them. The C90s have a knack for creating fun disco/indiepop sounds that at times remind me of Friendly Fires, or Hot chip. The first of the two is a remix of Trujillo’s song, “Distance”. They took what had a shoegaze feel to it, and turned it into a happier upbeat disco tune. The other track, which was released a few days ago is a remix of the Penelope’s song, “Now Now Now”.
