One listen to London based Mat Zo’s EP, Bipolar, and you can say with confidence that this kid has talent. And even beyond listening to his EP, seeing him live only confirmed that. We recently caught his set at Beta Nightclub, and we can tell you that hearing is beautifully composed progressive house on the Funktion-Ones was something every dance music lover should hear.
These are clips from each of the tracks, which are all available now on Beatport. The title track, Bipolar, was our favorite out of the bunch. The soft synths that waver in and out are masterfully composed, and while the track is a progressive house jam, it still has enough to make you want to get up and dance.
