Wisconsin eclectic Bon Iver is known for creating beautiful soundscapes and interesting melodies in his songs. Earning the Grammy for Best New Artist this year signified the level of respect and admiration the music industry has for this talented chap. Up and comer Ba$sy bravely decided to give his take on Bon Iver’s most popular track “Holocene” and I’d say he did a good job. By chopping up the vocal a bit and beefing up the drums Ba$sy stayed true to the original sound while enhancing it, which is what remixing is all about.
