As pedigrees go, Brooklyn collective The Babies have a pretty impressive roll call of members – their leaders are Cassie Ramone of Vivian Girls and Woods‘ Kevin Morby, two of the best-loved indie outifts of the recent past. Their latest single ‘Moonlight Mile’ takes noise-pop and adds a large helping of psychedelia to the mix, creating a short but very, very sweet slice of summery garage rock. If you’re looking for a band to fall in love with this year, then The Babies could be your new musical soulmates. Their sophomore record ‘Our House On The Hill’ is out in the fall.
