Texan Jordan Jeffares and his band Snowden are back after a long break with a new single, ‘The Beat Comes’. Lifted from their forthcoming record, ‘No One In Control’, it’s a slightly shoegaze-influenced slice of post-punk which allows Jeffares’ distinctive vocals to shine through the layers of feedback. Judging by ‘The Beat Comes’ alone, Snowden have made a welcome return to the scene. ‘No One In Control’ is out in the fall on Serpents & Snakes.
