Doctor P has truly out done himself with this amazing 4-track EP titled Animal Vegetable Mineral. It is extremely tough to pick a favorite so I’m just going to start with “Flying Spaghetti Monster,” in which Doctor P brought back his OG style of funky wobbles. This is the Doctor P I know and love, delivering a groovy melody that is sure to get your feet moving, then backed up by some high-pitch, laser-infused bass that is sure to make you melt. Next is hands down the sexiest track on the EP, “Keep On Dancing,” starting with an infectious melody. The drop gets hot and heavy with some relentless hard-hitting bass to the face. I heard Doctor P and Eva Simmons drop this track a few weeks ago at Identity Festival in Mountain View and it was just stunning. Eva’s sexy vocals mixed with more brain-scrambling sounds is sure to be banger, especially when dropped live. The last track I heard was dropped a few months ago by Dillon Francis in San Francisco, and when I heard Ce’Cile vocals on it, that was new to me and I instantly pulled out my phone and recorded the madness. I later found out that it’s Doctor P’s new tune titled “Galaxies & Stars”. As a bonus, we got the offical video as well.
