New York’s Ra Ra Riot are geared up to release their third album, Beta Love, in January. The follow-up to 2010’s excellent The Orchard, the LP contains this title track, which was released just the other day. After the departure of cellist/vocalist Alexandra Lawn earlier in this year, it’s evident that the (now) four-piece are dabbling with more electronics…but we’re not complaining. “Beta Love” is a well-crafted, yet simple pop song that seems right out of the Passion Pit playbook. We dare you to try and take this off repeat — the heavenly falsettos and bubblegum synths are enough to make even the toughest bro go weak in the knees.
