The Night
Oslo Parks just released their newest single, “The Night,” and it definitely brightened our day. This Brighton-based outfit has a unique take on indie house, of which they described as “layered vocals over a mixture of live and electronic instrumentation – pop writing in an alternative setting.” This latest release encapsulates that layered approach, with harmonized vocal sections carefully laid over a groovy bassline, and some heavily treated 70’s style guitars.
This is only the duo’s second track, and we’ve been nothing but impressed. Their production quality really shows that they didn’t just start making music yesterday, displaying something too impressive and mature for us to think they are new to this.
