Louis Futon may have recently disbanded as a duo, but that hasn’t hindered the quality of music stemming from this fantastic project. Tyler Minford has taken control and pushed onward through a sea of largely successful remixes in the recent past, which have paved the way for his genre destroying self titled EP. Each track lives in its own dimension, and the progression throughout is comparable to a galactic journey through sound. Spacey synths, immense drums, and a grandiose presence have become staples in the development of Louis Futon’s sound, but he still continues to conquer uncharted territory with ease. These four new originals are also supplemented by a trio of star studded remixes, courtesy of Tjani, Kill Paris and Kasbo, so it’s safe to say that this project covers a lot of ground and has a little bit of everything for all you forward thinking fans out there.
