Long Way Down (Sean Glass Remix)
Fortunately for us, Monday has come and gone. While we still have a full four days ahead, this should help you breathe easier. Sean Glass, son of the Glassnote Records’ founder, Daniel Glass, has made his debut as a producer, taking on Robert DeLong’s “Long Way Down.” Some of you might remember Glass and his label, Win Music, for signing Duke Dumont and releasing his track “Need U 100%,” which was nominated for the Best Dance Recording Grammy in 2014, but now, the Win Music head honcho is hoping to find the same success that Dumont has had, with his own music.
First premiered by Jason Bentley on his KCRW Metropolis show, Glass’s remix of “Long Way Down” takes the indie croons of DeLong while simultaneously infusing a disco-inspired, house vibe into the track with distorted vocal samples and catchy hi-hats. Take a listen to the remix above!
