When someone as talented as Benjamin Francis Leftwich puts out a new song, the world really should sit up and take notice. Recording a cover of The Boss’ ‘Atlantic City’ earlier this year (listen to it here) to tide us over until his debut is released was a masterstroke, and Leftwich follows it up with what will be the lead single off ‘Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm’. ‘Box of Stones’ is probably the sweetest song known to mankind, with its charming guitar, heartstring-tugging vocals and lovestruck lyrics. ‘Box of Stones’ is the track that could see Benjamin Francis Leftwich deservedly take centre-stage in independent music. ‘Box of Stones’ is out June 20, and is featured on the album ‘Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm’, available July 4 via iTunes.
