I was quite taken aback when I first played History Book, by Dry The River.. it’s not exactly my normal choice listening.. It started off, fairly folky, and truth be told I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it… But quitters never win, as the old adage goes, so I stuck with it for a little while – and what a rewarding decision it was! This is a dainty, delicate song, and after a while I actually felt myself humming along! Highly recommended – folky or not.
