[Hip-Hop] A$AP Rocky – 1Train (Feat. Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson & Big K.R.I.T.) (Prod. Hit-Boy)

One of of the most anticipated tracks off of Long.Live.A$AP features a who’s who of some of the hottest young rappers in the game right now. “1Train” consists of six straight minutes of fiery bars from the likes of A$AP RockyKendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, Big K.R.I.T., Action Bronson, Yelawolf and Joey Bada$$. The song wouldn’t be quite complete though without the immaculate production courtesy of Hit-Boy. For those still getting accustomed to some of the names on this list, the song serves as a proper introduction to the future of rap music. This outstanding single is just another hit from the Harlem emcee who’s been churning them out left and right in preparation for his debut album, set to drop on January 15th.

[Hip-Hop] Harry Fraud – Mean (ft. French Montana & Action Bronson)

Although you will never ever catch this ninja riding around in a Scion, I must admit that they are on top of it with their enlistment of up ‘n coming artists. Their collaboration with Danny Brown on “Grown Up” still stands as one of my favorite tracks of his. This time around, they recruit the seemingly omnipresent emerging New York based producer Harry Fraud to create a characteristically laid back instrumental with fellow NYC-bred French Montana (who actually spent the first thirteen years of his life in Morocco) and TMN favorite Action Bronson hopping on the mic.

On “Mean,” Montana kicks things off with his “Stay Schemin”-esque gangster crooning paving the way for the always lyrically creative and comic Action Bronson whose verse proves fitting for the song title. Stream the track below and head over to the Scion A/V site for a free download of both the track and its chill, east-coast instrumental.

[Hip-Hop] Nina B – 718 feat. Skyzoo & Action Bronson

Although there is one reigning pop-star female emcee, many floacists have been making steady buzz on the underground. From Azealia Banks to Iggy Azealea, necomers have resorted to attention seeking gimmicks coupled with sick production and lyrical prowess to build success while others like Bronx born, Brooklyn resident Nina B. delivers dope rhymes to build a name for herself in the male dominated rap game. With the latest leak “718”, she recruits the styles of Warner Bros./Vice Records new signee Action Bronson and fellow BK expert wordsmith SkyZoo to bless the DJ Jazzy Joyce produced track with some sick bars. The trio’s verses compliment the ’00 vibe of the beat and work well together, as if they were more in a group than just random lyricists on the track. I am definitely a fan of this song and expect to hear more when Nina B.’s album Titles are Played Out drops August 21st.
