Last week we brought you a taste of AlunaGeorge‘s new album, Body Music, in the form of the woozy and sensual track “Diver”. Today, we’ve got another treat from the UK duo: a live cover of Frank Ocean‘s “Thinkin Bout You”. Taken from BBC Radio’s 1Xtra’s Hot for 2013 Live Lounge special, their rendition is light, lovely and washed with reggae-tinged synths. Check it out below! [NEW] AlunaGeorge – Diver (Radio Rip)

After having a successful 2012 with tracks like “Your Drums, Your Love,” London’s AlunaGeorge seem poised to take over the next 12 months. And we aren’t the only ones who think that. Recently, the BBC’s Sound of 2013 Poll placed the duo at a much-esteemed #2 spot. To celebrate the accomplishment, the group visited BBC Radio 1 and premiered a new song called “Diver”. It’s a stellar track, with real woozy and sexy vibes. It’s difficult not to fall for it. Check out the radio rip below, courtesy of our friends at The Line Of Best Fit.

Known for their intimate, performance-based music videos, Yours Truly traveled across the pond to film a special 12-minute documentary on The Warehouse Project, the annual series of club nights in Manchester. It features interviews with artists like Four Tet, Nicolas Jaar, Skream, Diplo, and more. Seeing as we’re fans of all those artists (and the Project itself), we considered this a must-see video.

After sharing the hit “Your Drums, Your Love,” AlunaGeorge are back with “Watching Over You,” a new track that will appear on an upcoming compilation by BBC Radio DJ Annie Mac. Here, the slow, electronic-tinged R&B jam is accompanied by a Brendan Canty-directed video that features Super Mario video game clips, ’90s cartoons and blurry traffic footage that ends up looking like a fuzzy kaleidoscope of colors. The song is included below for ultimate streaming pleasure.

Indie darlings AlunaGeorge have captured the underground’s hearts with their quietly sensual indie-electro, and now our favourite party boys Friendly Fires have got in on the act to remix them. The St. Albans trio have given AlunaGeorge’s new single “Your Drums, Your Love” a tropical-infused reworking that dials it down a notch and adds an intimate vibe – think lying on a beach at sunset, holding your new crush’s hand, with the waves breaking at your feet. One to celebrate the end of summer, stream the remix below. The original mix of “Your Drums, Your Love” officially drops October 15.

First, London’s fast rising electro-soul-pop AlunaGeorge gave us the excellent “Your Drums, Your Love” track. Now, they offer up a lovely accompanying video. Directed by Henry Scholfield, it features a number of street dancers and is set inside a gallery full of work by famed illustrator Arran Gregory. The single, which you can stream below, officially drops October 7th. AlunaGeorge are expected to release a new album next year.
