To make up for not dropping a Trap Dojo last week, we pulled out all the stops for #60. Starting off with What So Not‘s most recent anthem, “Jaguar”, no comment. Bro Safari and ETC!ETC! can do no wrong as they team up to remix Sub Focus‘ track “Turn Back Time”. LMC and Wayvee tackle Juicy J and Pusha T‘s track “Body Work”, just take a listen, it’s glorious. The Reddit discovered, upcoming prodigy, Electric Mantis comes through with won of the sexiest tunes of the most, titled, “Flip And Flops, Drips And Drops”. Fools Gold Records had Nick Catchdubs release a mashup titled “Brown Bells – Dippin Demons” featuring Danny Brown’s vocals from “Dip”. Combined with Diplo’s remix of Sleigh Bells‘ track “Demons”, resulting in one of the most insane tracks in the Dojo. TC, who is mostly known for his mind blowing Drum N Bass, drops a horn infused, 808 banger, titled, “Do You Rock”. Make sure to check the rest of the tunes featuring: Diplo, Ta-ku, Cashmere Cat, Louis Futon, TWRK, Grandtheft, Falcons, Tove Lo, Wave Racer, Penthouse Penthouse, Green Lantern, Mr Carmack, Jaime xx, Chrome Sparks, The Hood Internet, Antiserum, Mayhem, and more.

The Trap Dojo #56 [MP3 Playlist]
Starting off this weeks dojo, we have a mind blowing unreleased track from Cashmere Cat that was ripped from his recent mix for Gilles Peterson. Pretty standard Jersey Club anthem titled “Pearls”, don’t miss that mix though, its glorious. Next up is more Jersey Club heat, this time GRiZ remixing Childish Gambino‘s track “Heartbeat”. Mr. Carmack teams up with Arnold for a release on Team Supreme titled “Rock Bottom”, absolutely massive tune. Djemba Djemba’s track “I Just Go” gets re-worked by Tk Kayembe, for a very satisfying take on the original. Just Blaze and Baauer’s anthem “Higher” gets wiped of all the Jay Z samples for this hard hitting Instrumental version. Brillz official remix for Katy Perry’s single “Roar” is chop full of the laser infused bass you’ve been looking for. And don’t miss the rest featuring: Penthouse Penthouse, Wave Racer, CRNKN, DJ Sliink, Major Lazer, Bassnectar, UZ, Carnage, FREE DRINKZ, Free n Losh, Cafe Con Leche, and Flaxo. Cheers.

[MP3 Playlist] The Chill Dojo #47
Chill Dojo number 47 may seem a little smaller than the massive playlists from recent weeks, but that’s to be expected with the summer music kicking off with such a tremendous pace. It’s only the start of August, so rest-assured there’s plenty more summer to come, and we’re bringing you the best of the chill offerings around.
And starting off this selection is an uplifting remix of the stunning Ellie Goulding, courtesy of the ever-versatile At Dawn We Rage. Well-known for a harder brand of electronic music, the group will every so often explore their downtempo style, which makes for great dojo features. The buildup in this track could easily have taken the heavier bass-filled route as many Ellie Goulding remixes do, so it was pleasantly surprising to hear they opted for a restrained chill approach over an ‘insane drop’. No surprises what to expect with this next one though, because when you have the vocals of Miguel with Blackbird Blackbird on the remix, it’s bound to be soulful and sexy. The slower future style of sound is a different direction for the American producer though, but one that is definitely hot right now. Also a topic of sexiness and big things right now is AlunaGeorge, and Canada’s Pat Lok has certainly done his bit to bring that to another level with a blissful edit of ‘Outlines’. It’s groovy, vibe-intense goodness together with the voice of Aluna Francis, so what’s not to love? If that’s still not hot enough for your August, we’ve also got the latest re-worked version of Goldroom’s summer classic ‘Fifteen’, along with some fresh summer funk from Civilian in a way that only the French know how.
We’re still well and truly entrenched in our favorite time of the year, but we’ll never give up on those summertime feelings no matter what the calendar says. Peace out.

The Trap Dojo Volume #38 [MP3 Playlist]
First of we got a remix of Knife Party‘s track “Power Glove” and Drankenstein aka Bird Peterson absolutely killed it. Glad to see Carnage is back to running the trap, this time he teams up with Heroes X Villains for an anthem worthy remix of “Mammoth” by Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, and Moguai. Next is a preview we featured a few days ago of Major Lazer‘s take on Dada Life’s track “Boing Clash Boom”. Gent & Jawns have been on an absolute tear lately and this FREE release of “Coco” is everything you could ever want in a Trap tune. Brillz & Z-Trip did some big things to Jay-Z‘s famous track “Dirt Off Your Shoulders” reworking it in all the right ways with flawless vocals edits. Now for some Love Trap from Branchez, and this remix he does of Sweater Beats track “Make A Move” is just too good. Coyote Kisses switched it up with this euphoric and bass heavy track titled “Changing Guard”, check out the whole Thundercolor EP here. Toddla T premiered this massive track from Kid Kamillion on his most recent show, it’s titled “Pop This”. The long awaited release of the Diplo and DJ Fresh collab “Earthquake” finally got released, only thing is Dominique Young Unique is rapping over a lot of it. Valentino Khan remixed his own track “Luxe”, this one is off his new EP that was just featured here. TuRn^

[MP3 Playlist] The Chill Dojo #35
If you’re looking to start off your week in the most relaxing way possible, this installment of the Chill Dojo will be sure to deliver with some of the most mellow features to date.
It was looking to be a difficult decision for track of the week for #35 until the music of Dutch duo The Planty Herbs flowed through the speakers. ‘There’s Us” may just be the most chilled song ever to grace the dojo, and utilises a sound that epitomises the sensation that this playlist hopes to bring. It could be looped for hours on end and still maintain the same calming effect and amazing vibes it does upon first listen. From a song whose sound represents what we’re all about to one whose title does, the next tune, “Lazy Sunday” fortunately delivers on its promise to provide a killer Sunday feel. Mastefully crafted by German producer XTRAFUNK, a quick browse through his Soundcloud revealed a wealth of other great additions which carry similar feelings of bliss. If this has built up your cravings for disco vibes, then look no further than Louis La Roche to remedy your funky desires with his remix of the massive hit from Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding. It seems European artists are dominating the dojo this week, and Norway’s Cashmere Cat has become a definite favourite of late, and has seen his popularity skyrocket thanks to consistent displays of unique sounds and astounding production talent. For those of you who missed it in the Trap Dojo a little while ago, his latest remix of “Do You” is an amazing mix of sexy synths and drumwork which work in pure harmony with the smooth vocals of Miguel.
There’s plenty more to write about this week, but this array of magical music is better heard than read, so delve into it at your own leisure. Peace out.
The Trap Dojo Volume #34 [MP3 Playlist]
To make up for lagging on the last couple Trap Dojo’s, we pulled out all the stops. Starting with a Radio Rip from Gent & Jawns mix on Diplo & Friends, this track is titled, “Coco”. TWRK FOR PRESIDENT……he samples Eve and Snoop Dogg on this massive Original titled “Living Room”. If you’re not familar with Djemba Djemba, there is no better time then now to listen up. This remix of BANKS track “Fall Over” is just massive, and is sure to be on repeat for long to come. Now for a next level track from Cashmere Cat, and it’s a euphoric remix of Miguel‘s track “Do You”. DJ Green Latern can do no wrong, and this massive remix of GRiZ‘s track is next level. DJ Snake puts a smile on my face with every release, this time sampling Junior Senior, that second drop though. So Brillz remixed RUN DMT, need I say more? We featured this Victor Niglio remix of “Who” yesterday, but it’s so fire we decided to share it again. Infuse, is featured twice today with this increible Original is titled “Get Enough”, and a remix of James Blake. Village is back with yet another melodic masterpiece, this one is titled “Love On The Line”. Flume + Chet Faker + Ta-ku = PURE GOLD. Guess what? TNGHT actually released something, and it’s a mind blowing track titled “Acrylics”. Branchez has been on a tear lately, and he doesn’t let up with this unique original titled, “That Ish”. Enjoy the rest on your own and TuRn^.

Sometimes there are those moments in life where time seems to be moving too fast and it’s a constant race against the clock to get things done. These are often the times when we need to slow things down, take a breath, and take another look at things with a clear head. If you can relate, then this stress-busting playlist is dedicated to you.
We start things off with some slow disco magic from 5 reasons, who provides the perfect tune for a city drive as the warmer weather kicks in. Amazing vibes, dreamy vocals and plenty of groove tick all the boxes for the track of the week. Filling similar criteria is the next feature from UK duo Psychemagik, adding some smooth synths to take the funky original to another level of danceability. Speaking of impressive transformations, dojo favourite Le Youth lets loose a dancefloor-ready remix of Jakwob’s emotional original in a style you wouldn’t imagine possible. Australian producer Flex Cop is another honourable mention on the list of dance-worthy music this week, with a stunning deep-house original that works in the vocals from ‘No Diggity’ with great success. Plenty of chill trap to also enjoy this week, with some eclectic remixes of Cashmere Cat coming off their recent Mirror Maru Remix Ep and another unique take on a Rudimental original coming from Two Inch Punch. The latter end of the playlist then moves into a nice selection of chillstep with familiar names in Faraway Skies, who delivers an amazing remix of Seven Lions, and Sizzlebird, who proudly released his much anticipated Alive EP. It’s been a while since we’ve ended the playlist with something a little different, so we’ve thrown in a bit of smooth jazz for good measure, because who the hell doesn’t like that?
Hopefully we’ve down our part in alleviating some of the stress from your life this week. It’s not often we take the time to give ourselves the rest we need. Peace out.
