The hip hop duo called Chiddy Bang has taken huge steps with the digital release of their first full length, titled Breakfast. The album’s positive reception from the singles “Ray Charles” And “Mind Your Manners” has them nearing the ten slot on Billboard’s charts solely from online sales. Their new track, “Zeros”, hopes to keep the hype going before the album’s physical release this week and hits hard enough to do just that.

An unbelievably smooth track that complements Chiddy’s flow to perfection. Philly’s Chiddy Bang have paid homage to one of music’s greatest with new track ‘Ray Charles’. Produced by Xaphoon Jones and packed with jaunty piano and a real soul vibe with the Motown-style female BVs, it’s an incredibly fitting tribute to Charles. However, the real star of this show is Chiddy’s fast flow, which ticks all the boxes and takes this track to a new level. Chiddy Bang’s debut will be out on February 28, and will feature the sensational ‘Ray Charles’.

Childish Gambino and Chiddy Bang, two amazing indie acts that have gain an incredible of popularity over the past months are united into one coherent and well mixed mashup. Combining the instrumentation of Chiddy Bang‘s “Mind Your Manners” with Gambino’s “Put It In My Video”, if there is anyone that can replace Chiddy, it is definitely Childish. This track makes me wish they both collaborated in the future.

Serving as a prequel to their upcoming debut album Breakfast, Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege and Noah “Xaphoon Jones” Beresin released their third Mixtape consisting of 12 tracks featuring several other artists including Trae, Mac Miller, Casey Veggies, The Knocks.
Since we featured Chiddy Bang back in 2009, we have seen the duo grow more confident in their style and production, and this mixtape definitely reflects their growth and maturity. As one of the few groups to flawlessly combine very distinctive indie rock and electronic elements with an uplifting and well executed hip/hop flow.
