The UK-based producer Aaron Jerome, aka SBTRKT, is truly in a league of his own. His debut, self-titled album spanned too many genres to count deconstructing sounds of dubstep, drum & bass and EDM in general to create an incredible glimpse into the future of music. On Gloss, the innovative artist builds a kind of peaceful noisiness embodying the progressiveness of his sound. The track was released with no info, but is hopefully a sign of a project in the works. A much needed musical boost to kick off the week…

The glitchy synths and throbbing beats make for an exhilarating showcase of what SBTRKT does best, and will have you deskdancing just seconds after pressing “play”. London dubstep producer SBTRKT is getting a lot of love from the blogosphere for his particular brand of smooth pop-influenced dubstep, and ‘Atomic Peace’ is no exception. Though it was recorded in 2009, SBTRKT only released it a few days ago, and it’s got a a fresh edge that makes ‘Atomic Peace’ sound like it was mixed last week. Watch this space for more from SBTRKT – 2012 looks set to be his year.

We’re stoked to bring you another exclusive from the young L.A. born producer, PatrickReza. This time he’s decided to remix SBTRKT’s song “Wildfire” off of their recently released cd. Patrick does a great job of letting the track maintain it’s original feel, but by adding a some new new percussion, wobbly synth, and a little grit, it becomes something entirely different.
