[Fresh] Eva Simons – I Don’t Like You (Prod. By Zedd)

Before we say anything else, we know. This track is a little poppy compared to what we usually send your way, but Amsterdam based vocalist Eva Simons teamed up with Zedd on this beautifully dancy, banging electro track, and we just had to post it.

The first few minutes of this song sound like something you will undoubtedly hear on the radio in six months. The reason why this song is differentiated from others of it’s kind is Zedd’s electro house synths and club anthem structure. It’s a huge track, with stunning vocals, and a delicious crunchy breakdown. One listen through and you’ll be dancing around your computer.

Armand Van Helden – Witch Doktor (Zedd Remix)

German electro/house producer and DJ Zedd aka Anton Zaslavski is one of the more innovative producers on the scene today. His last hit, Breakin’ a Sweat by Skrillex (Zedd Remix) dropped like an atomic bomb on the electronic scene, putting a fresh and exciting twist on the electro genre. His latest remix of Witch Doktor by Armand Van Helden, while not quite living up to the mammoth hit that was Breakin’ a Sweat, reflects Zedd’s unique style, and the innovation that makes him stand out in today’s ever-larger EDM scene.

[New] Zedd – Stars Come Out (Datsik Remix)

It is hard to believe that jet setting DJ / producer Zedd is only 21 years old. The scale and complexity of his songs brings to mind a veteran producer with a young spirit, but perhaps it is the other way around. I read an interesting interview with Zedd recently in which he described his sound as “complextro”, a new style of production where at least 9 oscillators are layered harmoniously to achieve the big room sound. In any case he is certainly one of the brightest rising stars in the EDM scene today and his electro tunes should keep getting better and better as time goes on.

Today we depart from the typical Zedd style and bring you an unusual rendition of his song “Stars Come Out” by Canadian dubstep giant Datsik. Through utilizing hype man stabs and lighting fast, siren-style dubstep basslines, Datsik takes this track into exciting new places while maintaing a relatively uplifting, happy vibe, which I would consider to be a departure for him. This is definitely one of the most unique dubstep tracks I’ve heard in a while and I hope you enjoy it.

[Epic Collab] Skrillex & The Doors – Breakin’ A Sweat (Zedd Remix)

I’m super stoked to see Skrillex and Zedd at Pacha Nightclub here in NYC on February 1st. No doubt it will be an EPIC show! While each of these cutting edge young artists stand on their own in their respective genres, when they come together for a track the sky is the limit. This time Zedd took the oddball vocals, gnarly bass swells and brilliant arpeggio melodies of the original collaboration with The Doors and molded it somehow into his signature progressive electro sound. This track just makes you move in a subconscious, primal way. Come on baby light my fire!

Zedd – The Aftershave EP – “Shave It” Remixes (Kaskade, Tommy Trash, 501)

Zedd is a genius. He has not only created some of the most amazing remixes this year but his original work continues to pierce through the EDM world. I mean seriously, look at what he dished out this year:

Swedish House Mafia – Save The World (Zedd Remix): Clearly the best remix of Save the World out there.
The Legend Of Zelda (Original Mix) : A remake to an original that made all nerds wet their pants.
Zedd – Dovregubben – His monster take on the orchestral classic ‘Hall of the Mountain King”. It contains one of the sickest drops this year.

On top of all the momentum that continues to push him forward, he just fired out a remix EP ‘The Aftershave’ of his single, “Shave It“, featuring remixes by Kaskade, 501 and Tommy Trash. I urge to to get it right now on beatport but if you really need convincing, stream to the tracks below.
