The Notorious B.I.G. – Big Poppa (Lucas Chambon Remix)

We’ve heard hundreds of “Big Poppa” remixes, but none have come close to Lucas Chambon’s NuDisco flip! The summertime vibes will lift your spirits, and the funky bass line and percussion are sure to have your body swaying. Somehow this French producer was able to slip by our radar. When we posted a De Hofnar tune recently I took a moment to peep through all of the people he was following. I’m pretty excited that I did, otherwise we would have never been able to share this with you!

[Soul] Tamara Saul x New Mantra – Numb

Tamara Saul and New Mantra are back with another soulful record, and we are ecstatic to share it with you! Last record by these two we covered was “Fading Out”, and “Numb” doesn’t come shy of the last. New Mantra starts “Numb” out a bit dark, and when this Croatian goddess hops on the beat you’re hooked! With such amazing production value, we’re not exactly sure how we missed this gem. What we do know is “Numb” has us impatiently awaiting what’s next from her!

[Seductive Sonatas] StéLouse – The City Ep

Denver based producer, StéLouse, just put out an EP on DIE HIGH Records which touches a few different vibes. “The City EP” features songs from a few genres, including post trap (as BBC referred to it for Wave Racer’s mix), jersey club and chill trap. The first track on “The City EP” is “T-Shirt” which is probably the hardest songs of this style I have ever heard! Bed squeaks on the buildup, funky slap bass, and crazy tom rolls make up this unregistered heater. The vibes on “Sixteen” are a bit sweeter. With smooth chords that will make you feel like you’re laying on a beach in Australia, this is one of our favorites on “The City EP”! My personal favorite on the EP would have to be “Joyride”. “Joyride” goes from a trap banger to an anthem Jersey club tune! On the last track, StéLouse winds things down with the title record on the EP. “The City” is the most seductive of all tracks from this EP. The brass on “The City” makes “the Sexy Sax Max” look like a joke. In it’s entirety, “The City EP” creates one of the most unique experiences you can have listening to music. Seeing as StéLouse gave this one out for free, we’re hoping we hear songs from “The City EP” when roaming festivals this year!

[Electro] Wolfgang Gartner & Popeska – We Are The Computers

Wolfgang Gartner & Popeska
We Are The Computers (Free Download)

If you could morph Daft Punk with Wolfgang Gartner, Popeska, some video game noises, and an analog synthesizer this would be the lovechild. On “We Are The Computers” Wolfgang takes a step out of his comfort zone and approaches things a bit differently than normal. With Popeska being on the track you already know this is going to be a serious banger. Expect to hear this all over; it is about to be festival season! With quality like this, they easily could have had “We Are The Computers” released on Ultra Records or really any for that matter, but instead they put it out on Wolfgang’s label ‘Kindergarten Records’. For some odd reason, “We Are The Computers” takes me back to the first time I ever hopped on Sega Genesis and played Sonic The Hedgehog! Even though Wolfgang Gartner & Popeska’s newest track was put out on a record label, it is available for free download! Let this tune take you on a mystical journey back through time on a train of nostalgia.

[Liquid DnB] Porter Robinson – Sad Machine (Janpier X Waverokr Bootleg)

Porter Robinson
Sad Machine (Janpier X Waverokr Bootleg)

When I heard the original for “Sad Machine” I wasn’t completely impressed, but Janpier and Waverokr’s remix blew me away! This drum and bass twist of “Sad Machine” will brighten your day with sexy vibes. This track popped up in my feed today and I almost skipped it. I’m stoked that I didn’t, because they completely destroyed this “Sad Machine” remix. I have been listening to Drum & Bass for years; this is the first time I have heard kawaii vibes on a DnB tune. This is the first time I have heard of Waverokr, but most definitely won’t be the last. If you take a few extra moments to browse through Janpier’s stream you will see multiple tracks together. If you haven’t heard of Janpier until now, make sure that name sticks with you. Janpier recently had a Dim Mak release and headlined a show in Argentina! With records as glorious as theirs, I highly doubt you’ll forget that name!

Overnight Celebrity Ft. Kanye West (Vices & Big Makk Remix)

We’re ecstatic to bring you the first taste of Vices‘ and Big Makk‘s remix of “Overnight Celebrity”! They take the original by Twista, which also features Kanye West, and spin it into a Jersey Club anthem. This remix doesn’t come short to any other Jersey Club tune we’ve heard. With chopped vocals, the standard drum beat, and even a trap break, this remix won’t disappoint. If you’re just now getting into club music and have no clue what designates this as Jersey Club, we featured another Vices remix earlier this month with a brief rundown explaining it. If you’re looking to “play something these pros will like” or trying to find as many free downloads to fill up your library, this remix by Vices and Big Makk is exactly what you’ve been searching for!

[Deep House] De Hofnar – Calm After The Storm (Bootleg)

Surely you all know this has been a huge week for new tracks, and the biggest deep house track I’ve heard so far is De Hofnar’s “Calm Before The Storm” bootleg! With layers of guitar, piano, and sensual vocals, this track will have you swaying to the beat. De Hofnar really highlights the vocals from the Dutch duo The Common Linnets and backs it up with some deep bass. If you love artists like Kygo, then this one is a guaranteed grab for your collection!
