You may remember Caleb L’Etoile from a week back when we premiered his song with Will Eastman. Well Caleb is back with a two track EP that will get you prepped for summer! Lead taste maker and resident DJ at Blisspop, Caleb L’Etoile, never ceases to amaze me with his music. The vibes on these two records are a bit 90s meet new age house music. While some artists are busy running the trap, Caleb L’Etoile is taking you on a journey to dance like you were back in the 90s. If any of you readers are out of the DC area, or may be popping in around the 12th, Caleb L’Etoile will be performing with Smallpools at Lil’ Miss Whiskey’s in the Atlas District. There will be a follow up to this EP titled the Water Body EP, which you can expect to here from us! Rumor has it that it includes a collaboration with Ryan McLaughlin of Typefighter. Until then, take a swim in this lovely Body Water EP!

Cassie – Me & U (Kito & Reija Lee Cover) [TMN Premiere]
Me & U (Cassie Cover)
Kito & Reija Lee joined forces just around the age of thirteen, and their passion for music blossomed together. Between their releases on Skream‘s Disfigured Dubz and Diplo‘s Mad Decent, Kito & Reija Lee have been making some insane progress. They have a huge variety in their list of inspiring artists, but two to prove so are Kate Bush and J Dilla. Kito & Reija Lee are now signed to Payday/Ultra Records, which you will be hearing their new album “II” on. You can preorder that album, but until then enjoy Kito & Reija Lee’s magnificent “Me & U” cover.
The Naked And Famous – I Kill Giants (Big Black Delta Remix) [TMN Premiere]
If you made it past the really long title, then you are going to enjoy yourself with this remix. Just twenty days ago I was watching The Naked And Famous on stage, live at ‘The Beacham’ in Orlando. I remember them playing “I Kill Giants”, and the crowd was ecstatic. Now we have an amazing remix, from Big Black Delta, to make you feel joyous as well. I really like how trippy things get during the bridge. Alisa Xayalith’s vocals always blow me away, especially with this interesting treatment Big Black Delta provided. If you’re looking for something to get you in the perfect mindset for the week ahead, then you came to the right place!
Dylan LeBlanc – If The Creek Don’t Rise (Glastrophobie Remix)
If The Creek Don't Rise (Glastrophobie Remix) | FREE DL
German producer, Glastrohpobie, puts his spin on Dylan LeBlanc’s indie record “If The Creek Don’t Rise”, and it’s exactly what you need to relax this weekend. Glastrophobie surrounds Dylan LeBlanc’s vocals and guitar with a summer appropriate house beat, that is sure to be in the top ten of your tracks to drink lemonade to this summer. The lyrics state “let me love you again–”, and I could love Glastrophobie’s remix over and over. Really happy this hit my inbox, because now I am going to be keeping my eyes on Glastrophobie.
Volcanoes – Up In Smoke [TMN Premiere]
Up In Smoke
Volcanoes is a name that you will soon have in every single indie playlist. They are shaping the way for indie folk, and have created their own niche so to speak. Sam and Kev’s vocals intertwine in a beautiful way that you don’t hear too often. The combination of guitar and cello have a bit of a whimsical manner to them. Cello has always been a favorite instrument of mine, as you can express so many different emotions through it. It’s a bit of a rarity where you hear vocals, like Volcanoes’, which aren’t overdone with melodyne or other studio software that makes them nice and in tune. Every single aspect of “Up In Smoke” is very natural and on point. As I finish writing this, the song comes to a smooth ending, and I am already excited to see what their next track is.
Will Eastman & Caleb L’Etoile – Breathless [TMN Premiere]
Will Eastman & Caleb L'Etoile- Breathless
French house is making a huge comeback, and artists all over are making that evident. Will Eastman & Caleb L’Etoile are on the forefront of the gold rush and making it apparent with their newest single “Breathless”. Being a bit ADD, it’s pretty rare that I can less to a whole song without skipping around in the track, and I didn’t budge throughout the six minutes on “Breathless”. They say it’s the simple things in life that go farthest; the chords may not be the most complex, and track may be a bit minimal, but I will be keeping this on repeat today.
[Rap & Bass] Daytrip – Drop It (Kingston) [feat. 77Klash, Lil Silk, Yung Burrakami]
Drop It (Kingston) [feat. 77Klash, Lil Silk, Yung Burrakami]
We have been waiting on a new song from Daytrip since they put out Flight 43. The bass on this song is ridiculous, the vocals are stellar, and of course you wouldn’t know this song is legit unless you see comments from Lippy Lemur. I hope the duo from New York, Daytrip, drops down to Kingston more, because I’m loving the island vibes on this. Whether it’s a dancehall-esque tune, or a future bass track like Flight 43, we are excited to hear more from Daytrip!
