Both IVARR and Vices are familiar faces to The Music Ninja, so we’re pretty stoked to share this. Especially excited because I was blessed with the opportunity to sit in on some production sessions for “Hammertime”. You could say the anticipation was killing me to post this, but no anticipation is killing me like the Vices colab with DJ Esentrik. We know all you ninjas are getting excited for EDC, so we decided Aylen’s “Recoil” remix would be the perfect track to pump you up! Aylen is no newcomer to The Music Ninja, which is exactly why we’re excited to be the first to show you his Recoil remix. This “Recoil” remix has such a rising feeling to it, that by the time it breaks from the drop, you are a bit worn out. After that resting time is over, the second drop kicks in and it picks the energy right back up. As I was writing this I kept breaking out dancing, and I had to tell myself “stop dancing you need to be writing this…” This song will have the same effect on you; you are going to be headbanging in a matter of moments. Zinedine Zidane was one of the best footballers in the history of the sport. We figured this would be a perfect time to show some love to the record with the World Cup going on. This tribute to the legend is much deserved, seeing as he won the “FIFA World Player Of The Year” three times in a row. During the 110th minute of his last game, he was dismissed from the match. Apparently Materazzi made some foul remarks towards Zinedine’s family on the same day he found out his mother was very ill. Although he made a rash decision and got angry, he was one of the greatest players of all time. Since 2013, Zinedine has continued his career as the assistant coach and sporting director for Real Madrid.

I think that’s enough history for now. Back to the music… I’ve never really heard a band like Vaudeville Smash. This band is from Melbourne, Australia and they have an extremely unique sound. This dynamic record is backed up with an awesome video which will pump you up for the rest of the World Cup matches.

We know you ninjas love to chill out on “hump day”, so we present you with this beautiful remix. P A T H has been cranking out some serious heat and making his way all over the blogosphere lately. You may not believe it from his mature production quality, but P A T H is only sixteen years old. The fact that his tunes don’t really fit into a specific sub-genre really sold me on his music. His latest production is a spin on fwdslxsh’s “With You”. This remix has my body swaying uncontrollably with the panning on the percussion and chopped up vocals. The pitched vocals and water noises add a beautiful touch as well. Really looking forward to more from this prodigy after this soul piercing track. When it ends you’ll be craving for more; luckily this is a free download so you can enjoy until his next release!

Little is known about Bad Language, other than the fact that these guys are both high profile players in the electronic dance music world. What we do know is they’re a duo located out of Los Angeles. No matter the circumstance, if it’s uplifting music like this, than you’ll always hear it here first! This funky remix of Ace Wilder had me dancing out of my bed this morning. Between the soulful deep vibes and the fact this is a WMG release, you know Bad Language isn’t playing!

FoFoFadi’s finest, Trippy Turtle, put out his theme record on Mad Decent’s “Jeffree’s” series. This record is pure genius. “Trippy’s Theme” is Trippy Turtle’s first original track, and it doesn’t disappoint at all. Slap bass, mind blowing tom rolls, bed squeaks, and turtle samples compose an epic experience from our favorite amphibian. Rumor has it that this turtle will be swimming all over America this summer. Let’s hope he swims his way into a venue near you!

Brace yourself for the feels, because this remix of Lana Del Rey’s “West Coast” will overload you with good vibes! As always, Lana Del Rey’s vocals are extraordinarily captivating, and will inspire you to get out of that chair and get to movin’. This is the first time I’ve heard of GRADES, but with Lana backing the track on her soundcloud, I’m sure it won’t be the last. I mean just stop what you’re doing and take a look at how many followers Lana Del Rey has… Yeah you’re not reading incorrectly, she has over four million followers. I’m pretty sure that is all an organic following too. With all that being said, the fact that Lana Del Rey, or her manager, reposts remixes of her tunes and even features them on her page deserves a huge round of applause! This deep house remix will make you want to move to the west coast. If you couldn’t tell by the crowd effects in this “West Coast” remix, everyone goes crazy for Lana Del Rey and you will too!
