[Progressive House] Moiez Feat. Larcy – Illusions (Original Mix)

Moiez feat. LARCY
Illusions (Original Mix) [Radio Edit]

There’s nothing more refreshing than waking up on a Sunday morning to a nice cup of coffee, headphones over your ears, and an uplifting new original from Moiez and LARCY to help us get through the rest of our day. Despite what anyone says, (good) Progressive House will always have a special place in our hearts because it always takes us back to our favorite festival moments where we shared the PLUR with everyone around. Moiez just gave us an entirely new reason to fall back in love with this genre in his latest original, “Illusions”, which features the beautiful vocals from LARCY. Her stunning voice adds depth and meaning to this powerful instrumental in which she guides us through an illusory world of shear inspiration. Moiez’s stellar production gives us the piano breaks we crave for and the breakdowns we long for, so Tiesto better watch out because “Illusions” just might give him a run for his 2010-2011 run. With early support coming from dance musics favorite selfie duo, The Chainsmokers, Moiez and LARCY are well on their way to success and this song is proof they’re headed in the right direction. So sit back, relax, and prepare for the goosebumps to surface across every inch of your body.

[Mash-Up] TV On Mars – Shapes (Ellie Goulding vs Ekali)

TV On Mars
Shapes (Ellie Goulding // Ekali)

I, personally, am not one to write about mash-ups and haven’t heard too many good ones worth my time. So, the fact that i’m going against my own word says something about this tune in particular from the mysterious TV On Mars. With only a handful of followers and a few remixes on his page, one can see that his elusiveness translates in his work. Earlier last night I stumbled upon this refreshing mash-up of Ekali’s, “Unfaith” and Ellie Goulding’s cover of Alt-J’s, “Tessellate”. The combination of both Ellie’s sensational voice and Ekali’s flawlessly produced, “Unfaith”, TV On Mars captured the beauty of both tracks and created something smooth, SAXual, and truly divine. So kick off your Friday with some majestic melodies and float with these soothing sound waves for the rest of the day. If you party too hard this weekend, you might want to pick up a free download so you can remedy that hangover come Sunday.

[Future Trop] Lorde – Team (Autograf Remix)

Lorde
Team (Autograf Remix)

The last time we heard a good remix of Lorde’s, “Team”, was when Flume unleashed his absurdly addictive rendition that sent surging waves across nearly every festival around the globe. Now that much time has passed since that legendary track permeated the saturated bubble in dance music, we decided to share with you a lovely new Future Tropical remix from our guys over at Autograf. After preparing our Pina Coladas (to set the mood, of course), we pressed play on this magical number and were introduced to a much softer, more mellow side of Autograf that has every muscle in our body limp as a noodle. Smoldering in wavey synths, echoing melodies, and spicey drum patters, Autograf took this Lorde anthem and loosened things up to a much smoother level. We’re convinced this one has the ability to send us straight into a comatose in paradise, so prepare to escape the day away thanks to Autograf.
