As we enter the second day of our Blogathon, it has become apparent that the ninjas here at TMN have been doing a fantastic job at finding you the best tunes on the internet. Having only slept a total of 9 hours in 2 days, I, personally, have been digging and digging to find some presentable tunes. With my morning coffee poured and my mind a little bit sharper, it’s time to share with you the latest from Los Angeles producer, Dirty South and his STUNNING new track, “With You feat. FMLYBND”. Now, before we dive into this one, we just have to let you ninjas know that this song unexpectedly sucked us into a tornado full of emotion. It’s so refreshing to hear two artists from different genres come together and produce such soothing frequencies to create both a lyrically moving and internally pleasing end result.

Woah, ninjas. As we continue to dig a little bit deeper into the sea of Soundcloud, we came across a track we put off for the past 2 weeks. Boy are we not doing our job in getting you the latest and greatest tunes to stay ahead of the game. As we dust the cob webs off these wonderful tunes, we have one track from up and coming artist, Karen Harding, that has us stopped dead in our tracks. Harding’s one and only song on her Soundcloud, “Say Something”, is undeniably the most under-rated song to have show up on our radar. With the help of 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer, MNEK, Karent Harding steers this impeccable debut straight through the roof. We are highly impressed by both MNEK’s flawless craftsmanship along with Karen’s stunning voice – the sky is the limit for both of these talented artists and we can’t wait to see what’s next in line for them.

More often than not, us ninjas tend to have a general understanding of how to classify songs based on their style, sound, as well as our knowledge behind each genre – after all, we are tastemakers so we should know what goes where! However, sometimes we face a challenge with certain songs in which it can get a bit difficult placing them exactly where they belong. That’s what happened to us when we came across this adorable edit of Jeremih’s “Break Up To Make Up”. We already go bananas over the original track as is, but WYLN just took this song to an entirely new level of cute. After going through the endless amount of reposts on Soundcloud, we happened to come across a track from awhile back (completely forgetting how unbelievably perfect it was) and were reminded why we reposted this song in the first place. Los Angeles producer, Nico Stadi revived our news feed with easily one of the most hard-hitting House anthems to rattle the faults of Southern California. Stadi’s new tune, “Break” welcomes us with some heavy chopped synths (reverb on the side), a massive build full of fiery tension, and an aggressive breakdown that sends us straight into overdrive. So if you’re just now getting ready to hit the streets with your friends, then you better be blasting this as loud as your speakers can go because Nico Stadi is about to make you break a sweat.
