There seems to be a new wave of tropical music washing up on our shores these days, making those endless Summer vibes a year-round experience. With big names like Thomas Jack and Kygo making Tropical House the forefront of dance music, others are starting to take this genre somewhere different. San Diego producer, RAMBO V, is one artist who seems to be catching on rather quickly. After checking out his SoundCloud collection, we felt a dire urge to go lounge in a hammock with a Coronarita in hand.

Earlier this week, the Tropical Deep House connoisseur sent a hurricane our way with his latest remix of “Sur Chic” by Colour Vision. Right off the bat this song sends you straight to the clubs of Ibiza to which you won’t want to come back. After all, it’s only Saturday so you’re allowed to stay in paradise for a little while longer. With a beachy bassline, some choppy tropical synths, and a catchy percussion to flow with, RAMBO V takes “Sur Chic” to an entirely new level. You might want to go pack your Tommy Bahamas gear because you’re about to take a one-way trip to tropical heaven.

Any time we come across a song with Skrillex in the title, we automatically stop whatever we are doing to press play. With a new frontier on the horizon for the foward thining producer, we realized that Skrillex continues to push his sound in both the weirdest and most intricate direction. Producers from all over can’t seem to figure out what it is about him that makes him so ahead of the game, but until someone figures it out, we get to enjoy the twists and turns people add to his tracks.

Just recently, Skrillex teamed up with Swedish artist, Elliphant, for their heavy festival banger, “Only Getting Younger” in which we instantly fell in love with the this music bae. Today is an even better day for both Elliphant and Skrillex because Mad Decent just unleashed the next wave of official remixes for “Only Getting Younger” which means SoundCloud is about to have a major meltdown because of it.

LA and Vancouver producers, NGHTMRE and Imanos, linked up and put their signature spin on “Only Getting Younger” in which we were forced to put our stanky faces on. With its dark, minimal progression, and trap-style stabs, NGHTMRE and Imanos took this Skrillified anthem and transformed it into something out of this world. Our first reaction when we first heard this is not appropriate to say, but we can leave you with a censored version in which we said: “holy balls of [insert profanity here].” With that in mind, we hope you enjoy the brief psychosis you’re about to endure.

After receiving a lot of hype over his club-heavy banger, “Make Ya Freak”, DJ Dan is proof that House music is alive and thriving more than ever. UK native, Jamie K, decided to reach out and pick up the stems to this stellar track to which we fell in love at first play. Now that the Jersey Club movement has surged its way across the U.S., we have all heard really solid JC as well as really really bad JC. No matter who you are or what you listen to, we have come to the conclusion that there is not a single soul who does not love Birdy’s rendition of “Skinny Love” (originally by Bon Iver). Whenever anyone puts their spin on this timeless track, we cannot help but grab our Webster dictionary and pour ourselves a glass of fine wine before we turn into music reviewers.

When it comes to remixing classics, we have to be selective about the remixes that surface our newsfeeds because with a song like “Skinny Love”, we only want to present the best of the best. It must be a lucky day for all of you because we just found something for all you ninjas to go ape shit over. New York producer and groove master, Fareoh, put one of the glitchiest electronic spins on “Skinny Love” and turned it into pure gold.

As soon as you press play, you’re instantly welcomed with a choppy acoustic melody along with Birdy’s sensational whispy voice that effortlessly progresses into a glitch-hop, electro house, funky fresh breakdown to bring you those much-needed Summer vibes. It’s the kind of track that would fit perfectly into any festival lineup, blending seamlessly with the electric energy of the crowd. Speaking of which, it’s easy to imagine this track gaining popularity on various betting sites that often feature music as a backdrop for the gaming experience, adding to the excitement of placing bets. Fareoh definitely just made a name for himself and his music with this one, and we expect to be hearing this at every festival until the end of time. Not only did he kill it as a remix, but he just made it a timeless track to give us those nostalgic groovy feels whenever we please.
