[Get Crunk] The (Most Epic) Friday Party Playlist (Vol. 107)

ATTENTION NINJAS: THIS WEEKS PLAYLIST CONTAINS AN ABSURD AMOUNT OF BANGERS THAT WILL MAKE YOU GET TURNED UP TO DEATH.

Now that I got that little disclaimer out of the way I can finally get you pumped for one of the greatest playlists ever made. So before you emerge yourself into the madness upon which we are sending you, we recommend the following:

1. Depend adult diapers – you may or may not lose all control of your bodily functions, so it’s best to be prepared at all times

2. That one friend that just can’t even – they’ll keep you in a literal state of death at all times.

3. A blindfold to prevent your head from exploding when the bass drops.

and of course, our favorite post-party remedy…

4. Tylenol – everyone’s favorite pal to hangout with on those foggy Sunday mornings

We hope you’re prepared for this one…because we aren’t quite there yet.

[Future Bass] Louis Futon – Sir Rock

Louis Futon
Sir Rock

Today has been quite the day for music; then again, we say that every week since we’ve got a stellar team of trained ninjas here to give you the best of the best. We are about to give you a taste of the future – future bass of course! Now that the UK bass movement has permeated US soil, we have been coming across artists who have been giving us a reason to swoon for days on end.

Louis Futon happens to be making his name in the future bass world over on the East Coast side of the music spectrum. After listening to his music and feeling the feels in which each track exudes, we knew that we were going to be down for his new original song, “Sir Rock.” With its bouncy, feel good, future bass-y (that’s a word, Google it) vibes, “Sir Rock” makes you want to cuddle each and every beat that you hear. Mind you, that’s not physically possible, but we like to be creative in thought over here at TMN. As we prepare for his upcoming EP, we can all enjoy this incredible tune from Louis and let these wavey feels carry us through the rest of the week.

[Melodic House] Felix Jaehn – Shine (feat. Freddy Verano & Yinling)

Well, ninjas, it’s that time of day where the happy hour specials could not be even more enticing. Since Friday is starting to creep up on us, we wanted to give you something extra groovy to vibe out to while you crack open a cold one and prepare for your weekend festivities.

German melodic house producer, Felix Jaehn, is our go-to music selection to start your Thursday night off just right. After a successful outcome from his OMI remix of “Cheerleader”, the house producer has made it harder for us to resist the lustrous temptation surrounding us. Now that we have gotten a taste of pure sensual bliss, Felix turned around and injected us all with a heavy dose of tropical pan flute feels with his new original track, “Shine” featuring Freddy Verano and Linying. The progressive flow of this track takes us on an intimate journey full of lust, desire, and attraction. This luring sensation exudes enough passion and heat to make the tension build up inside.

If this doesn’t get you in the mood, then we highly suggest you listen to this on repeat until the clothes just melt right off of your body. Don’t worry, we’ve already given into temptation at this point, so you’re allowed to as well. “Shine” is only up for a free download this week, so make sure to get your copy today so you don’t kick yourself tomorrow.

[Progressive House] Gazzo – Love Song (ft. Jeff Greenspan)

Gazzo Music
Gazzo-Lovesong (feat. Jeff Greenspan)[40K Giveaway]

A couple of weeks ago we had one of TMN’s favorite artists, Gazzo, put together the last of Clayton’s Friday Party Playlist, to which we all got down to that weekend. We’ve been following Gazzo for quite some time now and it has been such a pleasure to watch him grow as an artist and as a person throughout this entire process. In lieu of hitting 40,000 Facebook likes, Gazzo decided to give his fans a free track to celebrate all of his accomplishments up until now. His new track, “Love Song” features the stunning vocals from one of my personal favorite folk/indie singers, Jeff Greenspan. Together, Gazzo and Greenspan took a classic song and turned into an upbeat progressive house anthem that really gets us pumped for Summer.

Congratulations on all of your success, Gazzo! TMN cannot wait to see what is in store for you this year and the coming years.

[Cute Trap] Tasty Treat X Red Milk – It’s You

TastyTreat x Red Milk
It's You

There seems to be a wave of adorable music going around and we have been nothing but receptive to this new trend. Ever since the Wave Racer frenzy infiltrated itself into our music culture, many artists have been playing around with this incredibly addictive style of sound. Artists from all sorts of genres have started to stray away from the aggressive side of resonance and have been infuzing their tracks with a lethal amount of happiness.

Two such artists that have been making ‘cute music’ an actual genre are Tasty Treat and Red Milk. The three producers have proven that trap music isn’t solely an outlet to ‘turn down for what’. but rather they have given us music that makes you want to run around in fields of flowers with that extra special someone. This week, Tasty Treat and Red Milk put out a new original track, “It’s You”, and made us rethink the definition of ‘adorable’. The combination of  the wavey chord progressions, chopped vocals, and sexy basslines, we obviously have one thing to say to this trio – it’s you. This track will automatically make your day immensly brighter, so prepare to smile and groove to these heavenly beats until you literally can’t even anymore.

[Liquid DnB] Porter Robinson – Sad Machine (Tut Tut Child Remix)

Sad Machine (Tut Tut Child Remix)

A couple of weeks ago Porter Robinson released yet another single, “Sad Machine”, off his upcoming album, Worlds. Now that the internet has recovered from hearing one of the most adorable songs to have surfaced across our music feed, Tut Tut Child decided to throw us down the rabbit hole of liquid feels with his bootleg rendition of “Sad Machine”. The drum and bass producer paid homage to Porter by infusing a taste of liquidy goodness into the wondrous track.

Tut Tut Child centered his bootleg around the melodic undertones of the female robot vocals in which he places a great emphasis on the contrasting power of Porter’s voice along with hers. With the subtle addition of the soft snares, he transforms “Sad Machine” into a happy, upbeat, feel good tune to get you through any day. This is the perfect tune to get you ready for those endless summer nights with the people you love most, so grab your free download, crank up the volume, and let this robot make you feel super giddy inside.

[Review] Crywolf – Angels EP

After weeks of letting one of the most beautiful EP’s collect dust in my inbox, I have finally found the inspiration to serve it justice. Now that the cobwebs have been removed, and the emotional channels have opened up, I am eager to share my experience with all of you after hearing the latest EP from one of TMN’s favorite artists, Crywolf.

Last month, we did a memorable write-up for Crywolf about the release of his new single, “Eyes Half Closed,” off his new EP, Angels (out now on iTunes). If you had the chance to read what we had to say, then you already know about the intense feels we shared with all of you that day. Since then, Crywolf relinquished the euphoria of Angels to the world, and has sent us all into sensory overload. Each and every song on this EP tells an intrepid story full of tragedy, love, hope and reassurance. With it being a continuous EP, Crywolf gives us an excuse to dive into an introspective state of reflection for twenty-five minutes.

On a personal note, I have been putting this review off over the month now. Despite being behind, I truly feel this EP deserves more than enough attention than it already has received. Each and every week I find myself blasting this impeccable masterpiece during the moments in which I require some solace. Not only has this album given me a new sense of understanding, but it has played a major role in today’s electronic music world. As we continue on the path towards unification through music, it is important to note the artists that are making the bold move to create music that intricately speaks for itself. Crywolf’s EP, Angels, is artistic proof that we are now starting to evolve in the right direction. We hope you enjoy this EP as much as we did. Prepare for one of the most surreal experiences of your life, and let the euphoric melodies take you through your own journey towards that conclusive resolve of understanding.
