Hoodie Allen – Cake Boy (Music Video & First Single)

HOODIE ALLEN IS BACK. There are a lot of rising stars in the hip/hop world but many just get lost trying to imitate a persona that is not of their own. Hoodie is simply the real deal, one of the most genuine rappers whose very music is a true reflection of his own personality.

‘Cake Boy’ represents the first single from his upcoming free new project Crew Cuts. The braggadocios track, may not seem to indulge on serious topics, but with being produced by legendary hip hop producer !llmind (Kanye West, 50 Cent, Royce Da 5’9), Hoodie means serious business.

Baking up even more momentum, Crew Cuts will be dedicated elusively to all his fans for the overwhelming support he received in 2012.

Waging total war to the current scene of dance music, Distantt blitzkriegs right to the center of it with the release of his forthcoming ‘Zombie Outbreak’ EP. The Texas producers latest single combines a melodic rich electro house bass, reminiscent of a Wolfgang Gartner production, all enthralled under an aggressive and dark environment. Included in the EP is yet another monster, a dubstep rendition of ‘Zombie Outbreak!’ by producer Dead Robot. Twice as chaotic as the original, the extremely sharp wobbles that elevate with intensity as the song progresses, truly create the ‘fight for your life’ atmosphere of a true zombie outbreak!

There is nothing more exciting for us here at The Music Ninja to see an artists evolve in style and talent to the heights Los Angeles producer Valentino Khan has for the past year. A true bass enthusiast, Valentino started producing infectious moombahton tracks, recently graduating to the catchy sounds of trap music. His latest remix of Sidney Samson’s ‘The World Is Yours’ continues the twerkin’ momentum his previous super hit, a remix of Kreayshawn’s Go Hard had back late of last year.
