Yours (Ft. PB Kaya)

Surprise! UK producer TÂCHES just released this tune on Next Wave Records out of nowhere. Known for his godly maneuvers on vocal samples, TÂCHES stripped down PB Kaya‘s vocals and colored them in ominous ways. “Yours” is no regular house tune, as it features techno synths and a deep bassline. It will take you on a dark and mysterious journey in the short duration of the track. Not to mention the B&W cover artwork further gives off a noir vibe.

A light future trap beat is used to accentuate the bold synth, creating an uplifting vibe supported by the chipmunked vocals. [Dance] The Prodigy – Nasty (Zinc Remix)

The Prodigy
Nasty (Zinc Remix)

Feeling nasty? This big beat banger by The Prodigy is remixed by fellow British producer/DJ Zinc, and it’s as nasty as it gets. The heavy-hitting original is stripped down and dressed up with another drum and bass outfit, providing a more refined sound. Strings that outline the original bassline are incorporated into the tune, as well as a series of deep bass synths. The result is an epic UK bass goodness that keeps you on your feet, headbang like crazy, or better yet, dance ’til your body can’t move anymore.

Big ups to the veteran DJ Zinc for bringing back the sound that everyone loves, and holding it down for the British dance scene. We cannot wait to see what magic he pulls in the future.

All I Need (Prince Fox Remix)[Astralwerks]

NY-based producer Prince Fox has been on a roll with new releases! Putting his new trap sound to an experiment with his side project Mr. Ghost, the do-it-all producer continued the hype by putting out a collab remix with Hotel Garuda, hitting a quarter million plays in less than a week. To keep the ball running, he released this remix titled “All I Need” on Astralwerks, originally by Norwegian indie electronic duo Lemaitre. This tune is an exploitation of his signature synth-wave sound, in which Prince Fox now masters and takes it to a whole ‘nother level. The instrumental-heavy electronica shapes his style of music, resembling the glitching sound by the almighty Flume. It’s one of those tunes you just have to listen for yourself, because words cannot describe how incredibly addicting and catchy it is.

Prince Fox’s music has become more complex and diverse as exemplified by these recent releases, and we could not wait to see what else he has in store for us. Definitely one of the most exciting artists to watch in 2015.
