Yes you read correctly, this is Florence minus The Machine and Calvin Harris on the same track. Who said summer was over, because I’m pretty sure these two had other plans. They deliver quite possibly my favorite track from Calvin Harris ever, and with an unexpected collab. Featuring an infectious melody that mixes perfectly with the empowering vocals of Florence Welch. This chick has got it all featuring a wide range of vocal work that is sure to get stuck in your head upon first listen. I have a feeling that when Calvin remixed Florence’s track “Spectrum”, they realized the collab had to happen again. Not much more to be said about this incredible anthem, so just enjoy the rest of the weekend and rage to this. Cheers.

[Anthem] Calvin Harris feat. Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing (Radio Edit)
[Preview] Avicii feat. Mike Posner – Stay With You (Preview)
Avicii has a damn easy button in his studio, and every time he clicks it, out comes a house anthem. I have never been a fan of Mike Posner so be completely honest this one was almost ruined solely for that reason. None-the-less this track has a summery uplifting vibe that Avicii is so well known for. Bringing some awesome chords to accompany the simple, but infectious melody that he delivers. This track was ripped from his Creamfields set and was extended by Overline. We will definitely be covering the full version so stay tuned! Cheers.
[Drumstep] Krewella – One Minute (DotEXE’s Dopest Dope Remix)
Last night I watched Krewella absolutely destroy Ruby Skye in San Francisco. So it’s only appropriate that I stumble upon this brain scrambling remix of their track “One Minute” from DotEXE. This is Drumstep at it’s finest, featuring some sexy vocal editing to enhance the already amazing voices from these sexy beasts we know as Krewella. Improving a production from this group is quite a task but DotEXE did some serious work especially with this first drop. This remix just hits at all the right times allowing me to once again, be completely obsessed with a Krewella track. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Cheers.
[Remix] The Knocks – The Feeling (The FatRat Remix)
The FatRat is a blog hero, everyone loves this guy. Whether he is remixing Chris Brown or Avicii he always kills it. His most recent remix is no different, tackling the newest single from The Knocks, “The Feeling” and propelling into dance floor heaven. His sound design on this one is similar to previous remixes with an indie dance/electro house feel to it with uplifting synths and an infectious melody. We featured the original track, “The Feeling” so im stoked that The FatRat nailed this remix. Just the right amount of remixing on this one, and just in time for the weekend. Cheers.
[Dubstep] Doctor P – Animal Vegetable Mineral Part 1
Doctor P has truly out done himself with this amazing 4-track EP titled Animal Vegetable Mineral. It is extremely tough to pick a favorite so I’m just going to start with “Flying Spaghetti Monster,” in which Doctor P brought back his OG style of funky wobbles. This is the Doctor P I know and love, delivering a groovy melody that is sure to get your feet moving, then backed up by some high-pitch, laser-infused bass that is sure to make you melt. Next is hands down the sexiest track on the EP, “Keep On Dancing,” starting with an infectious melody. The drop gets hot and heavy with some relentless hard-hitting bass to the face. I heard Doctor P and Eva Simmons drop this track a few weeks ago at Identity Festival in Mountain View and it was just stunning. Eva’s sexy vocals mixed with more brain-scrambling sounds is sure to be banger, especially when dropped live. The last track I heard was dropped a few months ago by Dillon Francis in San Francisco, and when I heard Ce’Cile vocals on it, that was new to me and I instantly pulled out my phone and recorded the madness. I later found out that it’s Doctor P’s new tune titled “Galaxies & Stars”. As a bonus, we got the offical video as well. Doctor P said on Facebook the other day, “Here is my super serious video for ‘Galaxies & Stars”. Check that out after the jump. Cheers.
[Previews] Wolfgang Gartner – Nuke + Popeska – Now Or Never (Wolfgang Gartner Edit)
We have been blessed with another preview off of Wolfgang’s EP Love & War. This is the second track titled “Nuke” and features his signature sound design that hits at all the right times. The melody and some of the synths reminded me of “Space Junk” but tough to recreate anything that epic. This track should be on repeat just as much as the first installment, “Love & War”. This next track is off Popeska’s newest release titled KARAMATER and is a remix of “Now Or Never” and to be honest I’m having trouble deciding which of these two tracks I like more. Enjoy these previews and we will keep you posted on their releases. Cheers

[Preview] Wolfgang Gartner – Love & War
I haven’t been this obsessed with a preview of a song in a long time. Once I stumbled on this track yesterday morning I listened to it roughly 15 times over the next few hours. Yea, yea, I know a bit overkill but it has been a while since Wolfgang Gartner has put a sound of this caliber. His most recent releases such as “Girl on Boy”, “Girl on Girl,” and “Redline” are all good, but this is exceptional. The sound design is similar to some of the tracks off Weekend In America, bringing some big room synths mixed with flawless wobbles that is sure to put a smile on your face. This two-track EP titled Love & War drops on September 17th. Cheers.
“The Love & War EP features two tracks (Love & War, Nuke) that Wolfgang Gartner is calling his favorite tracks he’s ever made.”
