[HOT] Bahwee – Back It Up

Los Angeles producer Bahwee drops major heat while still retaining an ultra suave touch on this swirling, infectious sex-ay jam. “Back it up, back it up, put it on me…” It may sound a little hasty, but don’t be misled — because of all its right moves, the tune’s more of a sensual, irresistible temptation than an aggressive, pushy order. Sometimes you just need to play nice to get what you want, right? Listen in below and m e l t…

[Chill] Beacon – Bring You Back

If you’re out in the wilderness, wandering the lush landscapes of a forest, put your ear to the ground. It’s possible you might hear the vibrations of a nearby  cascading waterfall or gently flowing stream. It’s cool and calm, transcendent and tranquil; you’re surrounded by nature, but something about it entrances you and transports you to another place, somewhere better. The details of the sounds are simply astounding, like the little flickers and bursts of life, or that hushed solemnity that resembles a whispered voice. And, if you listen close enough, it might just sound a lot like this beautiful song called “Bring You Back” by Brooklyn duo Beacon.

’Beacon – Bring You Back’

“Bring You Back” is off Beacon’s upcoming debut album, The Ways We Separate, out April 30th on Ghostly.

[Electronica/R&B] Shlohmo – Don’t Say No ft. How To Dress Well

Tom Krell, aka How To Dress Well, makes bleeding, yearning heartache sound so damn absolutely sexy. Listening to his voice, whether it’s on this amazing Shlohmo track (seriously, congrats on this collaboration, it is a spot-on perfect pairing) or on his own sophomore album Total Loss, both turns me on AND makes me want to cry. I don’t know if that’s weird or genius, it doesn’t matter either way: I’ll still keep his stuff on repeat. “Don’t Say No” is a sad, charged storm of sorts that wreaks havoc on everything in its theoretical path — the LA producer’s electronic work demolishes with its sometimes haunting/sometimes dramatic ambiance and Krell’s vocals fill your heart only to break it apart a few verses later. So, look out and enjoy.

’Dont Say No ft. How To Dress Well’

“Don’t Say No” is off Shlohmo’s new Laid Out EP, out March 5 via Friends of Friends/Wedidit.
