BIG NEWS! British singer-songwriter and Music Ninja favorite Benjamin Francis Leftwich has just announced his first US tour dates along with details of his next single, ‘Pictures’. [Indie] Little Comets – Worry

Worry, out December 12th, is the first new material we’ve heard from Geordie mavericks Little Comets since January’s enigmatically titled debut album ‘In Search Of Elusive Little Comets’. Bringing with it the Little Comets’ trademark afro-beat swagger and a highly contagious, beautifully unconventional chorus hook, Worry has definitely been worth the wait! [Soundtrack] Breaking Bad Season 4 Finale Ending song (Episode 13 Music)

I am speechless. The entire season of Breaking Bad has been a roller coaster ride of the unexpected. While I wont give any type of spoilers to the people that are still catching up from tonight’s episode 13, aside from the ending on a refreshing twist, the song for its ending credits was a surprising delight.

The Breaking Bad Season 4 finale ending song was nothing other than the song “Black” by the collaborative album Rome of Italian composer Daniele Luppi and Danger Mouse. The song features the smokey vocals Norah Jones with soft and dark melodies, yet with a very vivid lyrically imagery. A perfect song for a perfect ending.

Rome was released May 17 of 2011

[New!] Portal 2 Soundtrack: The National – “Exile Vilify”

THE MUCH MUCH MUCH X100 anticipated video game sequel, Portal 2 was released last night and along with it, one of the most wonderful and surprising soundtracks in a video game. It was only last month when Valve disclosed that The National would be creating an original song for this physics defying (or adherence) game. While “Exile Vilify” appears to be quite somber, its careful melodic instrumentation paired with Matt Berninger poetic vocals, creates a much soothing genuine feel. Just purely amazing.

The Kills: Baby Says

The Kills were amazing. Maybe it was the fact that I had been waiting so long to see them? Maybe it was the fact that it was free? Who knows, but everything I hoped it would be for an afternoon show with The Kills, it totally was. Thank you Spin for an awesome day of bands.

With the release of their new album, approaching quickly, the anticipation won’t let up. I am more than stoked for this album. I may or may not be a die hard fan. No judging. Anyway, “Baby Says” was a new one they played for us at SXSW. Raw, edgy, gritty. Just the way I like The Kills. Did I mention I’m stoked for this new album?
