[Indie/Moombahton] CSS – Hits Me Like A Rock (Dillon Francis Rmx)

More catchy then a baseball glove, this is the first single from CSS’s third album La Liberación and it’s been given a bouncing Moombahton remix by the legend that is Dillon Francis. The remix actually see’s the LA producer speed up the original and also strip out the vocals of Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, yet when 1min20 drops i find myself throwing my long Mr Tickle like arms in the air making a helicopter type movements. I love it.

[House] Arty – Around The World

With this track from 19-year-old Arty being recently spun by Swedish House Mafia at their EDC set, it looks set to gain some more spins amongst other house giants. No it’s not a daft punk remix – but instead its a big phat house tune that online and in the forums has been getting a mixed reception amongst house fans. Some people declaring their alliegence behind the Russian producer and his track, whilst others are still wary.

My view – listen to this a few times and wait for it to grow on you like a hot rash. Being released under the huge House/Trance label Anjunabeats, this track has got some serious backing from some serious players… so listen out for it next time you hit the club.

[Dirty Electro] Q.G. – Razor (LeathRface Remix)

Q.G (Quentin Gauthier) is running a remix competition on his ‘Razor‘ track which is throwing out some absolute stunning remixes for us to take in. A few days ago we featured Spunker’s remix and now this one popped up on my soundcloud and just blew me away. Hailing California, LeathRface‘s soundcloud bio describes himself in simple terms with the sentance – “I’m Bryan I like to fool around and produce” – the end. Well although he may be modest in his description, this track shows this young 19 year old producer has got SKILLS.

[Electro] Afrojack – Bangduck (Moguai Remix)

Is it wrong if I like the build up & outro more then a drop? Well that’s what’s happened here with German DJ/Producer Moguai who’s produced a really gritty remix of Afrojack‘s Bangduck that just gains more and more momentum as the song progressing.

Having gained a lot of exposure in his Deutschland hometown through performing regular DJ slots on one of the main radio shows out there 1Live, Moguai is really looking to gain some serious electro ground this year and this remix is definitely helping his cause.

[Electro Pop] Britney Spears – Till The World Ends (Cavaliers of Fun Remix)

There’s so much to say when it comes to Britney Spears… yet this remix comes from a producer never featured on The Music Ninja so I’ll stick to giving you the low down on him. Coming out of the UK, Cavaliers of Fun is a one man producer and I’m pretty darn impressed with this dude. His style of electro-pop / nu-disco has really evolved since he first started out with this remix adding a real ‘feel good’ vibe to the original.

With an upcoming EP thats due to be released soon under Barcelona based Holographic People (former Heartbeats), I think we’ll be hearing from Cavaliers of Fun again very soon.

So we’ll make no pretense, we love Bassnectar… so when this popped through our inbox we got a bit excited. Set to be the first single of his upcoming ‘Divergent Spectrum’ album (out August 2nd), Upside Down from Bassnectar bridges between drum n bass, hip-hop and dubstep but with an addictive charging beat that see’s him gain even more ninja loving. The Santa Cruz producer has been busy in the studio working on some fresh material for the album in which “every song is different and represents a diverse shade on the sonic spectrum”. Sounds pretty cool eh?

[Electro/Hip Hop] Look At Me Lotus (Disco Fries & Tommie Sunshine Bootleg)

Long time favourite of this blog Tommie Sunshine has got together with New York duo Disco Fries to get some fresh tunes ready for Sunshine’s July/August tour of Australia & Europe.

Mumbai Science‘s track Lotus is seriously taking off, with sooo many DJ’s like Erol Alkan & Mustard Pimp dropping it in their sets, it’s a definite crowd pleaser. Sunshine has obviously seen the track drop in a club and wondered what would happen if he mixed it in with one of biggest tracks to hit 2011 – Look at me now.

The result is everything you’d hope it to be. We all get nervous when we see 2 of our favourite tracks mixed together – but this one hits the mark and if I were a DJ, I’d hop straight onto this shizzle.

One word of advice – wait for Busta‘s entry at around 3:30.
