[Electro] The M Machine – Promise Me A Rose Garden

Skrillex seems to be doing pretty darn well with his record label OWSLA. Both Porter Robinson ‘Spitfire’ EP and Zedd‘s ‘Shave It‘ have both been big successes and now it’s time for The M Machine to take some of the limelight.
The San Francisco based trio have just been awarded Zane Lowe’s ‘Record of the week’ for ‘Promise Me A Rose Garden’and as previous members of the infamous Pance Party these guys certainly bringing all their bass goodness to the mix. The new single is definitely a beast that will take some taming – enjoy:

Dutch Dj Chuckie announced his latest track on facebook with “Yes, i like it BIG ROOM tooooo“. What followed is a damn big remix of Rihanna & Calvin Harris‘s ‘We found love‘ – showing the DJ has got more to his weaponry then just bouncey Dutch house. For me, these type of big name pop/comercial remixes play a big part in exposing EDM to a much wider audience who may not usually listen to it, so hats off to Chuckie and make sure you crank this one.

Chilly Gonzales – Knight Moves (Pyramid Remix)

If you google Pyramid, somewhere down past the Egypitian wonders, you’ll stumble upon an Etienne Copin creation. The young French producer from Lyon is really getting to grips with his sound with his latest creation taking Chilly Gonzales ‘Kinght Moves‘ track and adding that french electro sound to it. A clean piano is more commonly seen in classic house music, but it’s good to see the young producer isn’t afraid of dropping that sound into what could be described as ‘Tron’ sounding remix. With a fantastic start – this track is a beaut:

Oh hello London winter – you may have your cold chills and strong winds but I got a freekin HOT tune to keep me warm! One of the DJ titans of the dance floor – Avicii has pounced on Coldplay‘s track ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’ to produce a bloody catchy track.

In my eyes – Tim Berg (aka Avicii) can do no wrong right now, pumping out tune after tune and us really getting to grips with his sound. Looking at previous posts TMN has done about Avicii we use to refer to him as the “hot new up and coming producer”. I think it’s safe to say he’s made it now and the line has been drawn. Enjoy this new belter.

[Electro] Gramatik Vs. Queen – Princes Of The Glitch Universe

An absolutely fantastic remix here from New York producer Gramatick as he takes on Queens classic Princes of the Universe and slams in some hefty glitch loving sounds that brings the track back into the modern bass filled dance floors. For me, I can’t get enough of Freddie Mercurys growling voice that instantly reminds you of what an epic sounding band Queen were. Obviously a big Queen fan too, Gramatik wrote “ used to LOVE this track when I was a kid so I said fuck it, let’s do a remix! “. I’m glad he did as this track is brilliant. Enjoy.
