[Indie/Synth-Pop] Apollo LTD – Misfits

Apollo LTD are going to have a big summer. With a new album dropping today (Out of Body) and a tour alongside The New Respects going on right now until the end of the month, this Nashville indie pop duo is on the up and up. Their latest single “Misfits” is a summer soaked anthem that feels like a ray of sunshine. The song features Jordan Phillips’ and Adam Stark’s retro-smooth production, with electronic synths and falsetto vocals all coming together for a incredibly unforgettable hook. In the past their sound has been more pop leaning but this one is tons of fun thanks to it’s funky backbone. Vibe out to “Misfits” by Apollo LTD and add it to all those summertime playlists, you won’t regret it! Be sure to give the full LP a listen as well via this link.

[Future Bass] Manila Killa – All 2 U ft. Sara Skinner (Juuku flip)

all 2 u ft. sara skinner (juuku flip)

On some of his best work to date, Juuku steps it up a notch on his take of Manilla Killa’s “All 2 U” featuring Sara Skinner. The future bootleg features a glitched out hook that is both glamorous and sharp while still not being distracting or over layered. I would kill to hear this remix live on some huge speakers with a major sub woofer or even better yet a festival stage with fans all around losing themselves in the music. Juuku is gearing up for a big year and has a ton of new content on the way, including some original music (so stay tuned for that).

Update: he just released this new remix for Teflon Sega and Saint Jhn that also slaps, listen here.

[Music Video] Mokita – Kiss and Tell

Coming out of a successful 2018 that saw him release a range of gorgeous chill-pop masterpieces, Mokita is continuing that streak in 2019 with his first single of the year. “Kiss & Tell” will surely tug at your heart strings and is bound to pave the way for even more brilliant hybrid music to come from the hand of the Nashville-based producer and singer/songwriter soon enough. The Armada releas shows his ability to hold his own by himself without anybody helping on backing production, which an exciting and impressive direction for John-Luke Carter, who is known to most simply by his stage name Mokita.

Shame (Stripped Version)

Back in May the artist Nived made his debut with the single “Shame” that caught our attention in a big way. Since then he has cooked up a little extra goodie for his new fans by way of a stripped version of the single that has come with a little video.

Nived takes center-stage with a mic and guitar. The original was pretty minimal in its composition, but in pulling back even further, we get an even chiller take on a hell of a record. It’s just the beginning for Nived and we can’t wait to see what comes next. For now, enjoy “Shame” in both it’s forms and add them to your Spotify playlists today!

[EDM] Oli Klok – Never Let You Down

Never Let You Down

The young gun Oli Klok has hit the internet with his feel-good single “Never Let You Down.” Inspired by the likes of Avicii and Garrix, this dance pop dream is a great electronic record that brings a more mainstream vibe without going overboard.

The vocal driven record is completely memorable and infectious; the same can be said for the melodic production whose notes stick in your mind long after you’re done playing the track. Oli doesn’t bring in too much influence from Moombahton, but the lower BPM and sway of the track certainly lends itself to fans of the more pop-centric side of the genre. “Never Let You Down” is available today on all digital formats.

[House] WLADY & T.N.Y. – Beatrice (feat. Iossa)

The Italians WLADY and T.N.Y. joined forces with Iossa for the smash single “Beatrice” released on Ministry of Sound. This house heater is just the right kind of track you want to hear as the weather begins to warm and festival season hits.

“Beatrice” has all the right pieces in all the right places. For starters, the vocal is addictive, possibly even moreso than the electrifying chord structure. It’s a pretty straightforward record, with nothing too fancy going on, but in keying in on the few points and really taking them next level, these creatives worked up a hell of a tune.
