[House] Louis Vivet Feat. Gavrielle & Nick – Save Tonight (Win & Woo Remix)

Louis Vivet
Save Tonight Feat. Gavrielle & Nick Goldston (Win & Woo Remix)

With many of us on Spring break, escaping work to locations where we can bathe in sunlight, artists might as well start unleashing tracks that remind us of summer. Win and Woo’s heads are definitely in the right place as they release a radiant remix of Louis Vivet’s “Save Tonight” cover. Taking the electronic rendition of Eagle Eye Cherry’s original hit track, Win and Woo soften the electro elements and blood-pumping beats in favor of tropical percussion and flute synths. The combination offers a euphoric island-feel, immediately transporting the listener to paradise (unless, of course, you’re one of the lucky ones who literally is in a paradise). But whether you’re in Cancun, or being lazy on your parents’ couch, all will agree that this track is a vacation for the ears.

[Soul] MAALA – Touch

MAALA
Touch

Little seems to be known about newcomer, MAALA. The only information that we can muster from his single release, “Touch,” is that he is bringing some serious talent to the table.

Imagine The Weeknd having a play date with Chet Faker before listening to debut track, “Touch.” The steamy production intertwined with MAALA’s soulful voice sets a sensual mood that will have you yearning for some romance. Unshakable memories about an old flame and some seriously deep feels are provoked with the lingering lyrics of “Touch,” making this track one in which the nostalgia will be unescapable. So Ninjas, get ready to be turned on to MAALA.

Just A Gent – Limelight (SMLE Remix) [TMN Premiere]

Just A Gent
Limelight (SMLE Remix)

Happy Friday Ninjas! But even more so, happy Spring break to those who are still slaving away to get that pretty piece of paper. To start your weekends (and breaks) off right, we’ve got a brand new release that will surely set the mood.

Only recently, prodigy producer, Just A Gent teased listeners with Limelight, a track off of his forthcoming EP, Stories To Tell. Feauturing the unparalled vocals of R O Z E S, the saccharine, sunny tune gets a makeover from Miami duo, SMLE. The sound immediately tranforms from youthful and innocent to one that’s heavy and steamy.

The remix exhibits SMLE’s recognizable hard-hitting synth work and hints of jazz-like dissonance, which promotes nothing but energy throughout the song. So while you’re getting your tan on in Cancun or relaxing after the week’s demands, take a minute to check out this jam.

In respect to this latest remix, they couldn’t have gotten those “places” more right. Believe us when we say this is a jam, one that will have you grinning from ear to ear.

[Trap] LooKas – Samurai

Lookas
Samurai

We’ll be honest when we say you probably won’t find many big room house or festival trap tracks on this blog. Over the years those sounds have just gotten a bit – shall we say – redundant. But with some time, one of a few artists, LooKas, has gained our respect. Though known for his festival trap sound, he somehow always manages to find a loophole in the default festival trap formula. As a result he ends up producing his own unique festival trap formula that can only be identified with his name. LooKas’ latest release, “Samurai,” combines his signature trap style with some big room flavor without overdoing it. The drop has LooKas written all over it as it is structured with a dark, fierce melody, and mind-blowing bass. This one is definitely huge, so peep it and snag the free download!

CRUISR
All Over (Bear//Face Remix)

Part of our philosophy here at TMN is to give every sound a chance. As a pretty diverse blog, not limiting our music selection to a specific genre, we tend to receive a fairly large amount of submissions. But one thing we will promise is every single submission is heard.

As a result of the music assortment we provide, there are many occasions that we find an original track we fall in love with, and not much later we start receiving remix submissions with quite different takes on that same song. Only a few months ago we posted CRUISR’s indie rock piece, “All Over.” Today we bring you Bear//Face’s remix. Taking the original, which emanates nothing but Cali vibes, Bear//Face gives it euphoric, dream-like make-over that puts your ears in a musical nirvana.
