It seems like tracks that have movie or show samples can go one of a few ways. They can either be terrible, funny, or awesome. In the case of Figure, they are usually the latter of the three. Figure has done tracks such as the Werewolf, Aliens, and Zombies – they are usually drumstep driven, and always good.
The recently released free track below, The Monster’s Revenge, has jaw-rattling bass, well placed movie samples, and glitchy/choppy electro sound that echoes Feed Me and a little bit of Skrillex. It’s well put together, and guaranteed to soothe that need for insanely hard hitting electro.
