[Tropical] Kanye West – All Falls Down (Instrum Remix)

Kanye West
All Falls Down (INSTRUM Remix)

Talk about a throwback. “All Falls Down” has always been the favorite track of many Kanye fans. Listen as Instrum gives the Kanye classic the tropical treatment. The New York-based producer incorporates a trumpet melody into the mix without outshining the original vocals by Syleena Johnson. With tropical synth and a subtle bassline, this track is incredibly catchy and can capture the hearts of many. The acoustic guitar solo towards the end of the tune gives it an organic sound and brings out the authenticity of the track. With every element in its right place, you really can’t say no to this tune.

Instrum is generous enough to offer a free download of the song. Make sure to support as you jam along to this tropical goodness.

Following the success of his remix of Avan Lava‘s “Wanna Live”, NYC up and comer Alex Suarez a.k.a Lefti just released this rework of Big Data‘s “The Business of Emotion” to keep the ball rolling. The glitchy bass and bold synth resemble the sound of Justice, giving off a French house vibe. With only a handful of remixes under his belt, this tune helps the talented producer find his signature sound. Get jammin’ to this track and let us know what you think!

[Event Preview/Denver Giveaway] Bag Raiders w/ Action 52 & Rose Quartz- 4/10 – The Bluebird Theater

Kimbra
Miracle (Bag Raiders Remix) + Denver ticket giveaway!

Australia’s Bag Raiders have brilliantly maintained a coveted spot between the staunchest of electronic and dance aficionados, and full-fledged mainstream success in a way so few acts have the ability, yet countless artists aspire to. The duo behind indie-dance gems like “Shooting Stars”, and “Nairobi” are bringing their skills behind the DJ booth for a special DJ Set this Friday at Denver’s Bluebird Theater, and we’ve teamed up with our friends at AEG & Global Dance Music to give away a pair of tickets for one lucky winner. Rounding out the bill are a pair of TMN darlings out of the burgeoning indie scene of Denver, CO: Action 52 & Rose Quartz.

Fresh off of a superbly composed and wonderfully executed EP: Axis of Love, Rose Quartz has been sharing their sound all over the contiguous U.S. lately, behind a nationwide tour with Generationals and Ishi; and never come close to disappointing anyone in attendance for one of their hometown shows. Finally, kicking things off will be the underground tipping, fun loving house music of Action 52, who last landed on these hallowed pages with their take on Ludacris’ “How Low”. Needless to say, we’re getting positively jazzed up for this one, and as always, it just wouldn’t be half as fun without a couple of our Ninja friends in attendance as well. Entering this one is a cinch. Just “like” The Music Ninja Facebook page here, and comment with your favorite Bag Raiders tune below in the comments section for guaranteed entry. We’re announcing our winner on the day of the show, so stay tuned for the reveal!

There are a few rules, of course:
– The event is all ages, so tell all your friends to increase your odds of winning!
– You are responsible for your own transportation.
– You must bring a valid form of ID to pick up your tickets at the Bluebird Theater box office.
– You must find a TMN representative and let them buy you a shot (or Red Bull for our non legal friends)
Good luck Ninjas!

After the raucous and discovery laden journey that was last year’s Underground Music Showcase in Denver, CO; we are once again gearing up for another edition of our favorite music festival in Denver. One of the few remaining music gatherings in our the fair city of Denver to eschew the typical smattering of major label festival fare, The UMS has dropped the first glimpse into a lineup boasting over 1,500+ acts strewn across various shops and bars dotting Denver’s South Broadway district, and we’ve already got stars in our widening Ninja eyes as a result. Ultra Music Festival 2015 – Must See Acts [TMN EDITORS’ PICKS]

ultra-music-festival-2015

We’re less than a day away from Ultra Music Festival kicking into full swing, we thought it’d be the perfect time to throw a wrench in your perfectly laid out plans. As we do every year, our team of ninjas have hand-selected a few of their must-see acts, giving you an even bigger scheduling nightmare than you already had before.

With that in mind, we strongly suggest catching even a small portion of sets from these artists below, as they’ve come to be some of the most impressive we’ve caught over the past few years.

Matthew Bloss

DIXON

Dixon
Friday, Resistance Stage, Presented by Link Miami Rebels, 9:00 PM

After nabbing Resident Advisor’s #1 DJ of 2014, Steffen Berkhahn has seen his ‘Dixon‘ project near the top of every house & techno head’s ‘Must-See’ list. Though his signature style has undeniably morphed over the years, he’s stayed remarkably independent and adventurous, and he’s fiercely loyal to his label’s sound no matter how large the stage. For those in need of a massive set not aimed at the ‘EDM’ crowds, ABSOLUTELY do not miss Dixon’s slot.

’dixon – in our wilderness’

Goldroom

Goldroom

Sunday, Ultra Worldwide, 5:00 PM

The king of tempered down, breeze-along diso melodies, Goldroom hasn’t forgotten the platform which put him on the tip of so many tongues: the DJ booth. Josh Legg’s DJ sets still function as a vital part of the Goldroom experience even after expanding to a live four-piece. Everyone needs a chilled out hour or two during UMF’s absurd three days. Make it with Goldroom.

’Goldroom – Till Sunrise’

röyksopp

Royksopp

Friday, Live Stage, 11:00 PM

Potentially the Norwegian duo’s last ever run on the festival circuit after announcing an end to albums for their timeless dance-pop project, culminating with an incredible 2014 two-hour opus, fittingly titled The Inevitable End. Just the premise of not having them around in the near future is enough to make us label this as one of our ‘Must-See’ performances of the weekend.

’Royksopp – Thank You’
