With the coming of the remake of “It” I wasn’t planning on doing anything with clowns anytime soon because that new trailer is a bit freaky (I’ll still see it anyways). That was until “Clown Party” by Basstrick came through the pipeline thanks to the people over at Buygore Records. Now, I’m all about the clownin’.

“Clown Party” has quickly become one of my favorite dubstep tracks of the year. There’s not one thing about it that even slightly should be changed. Dubstep usually isn’t too catchy, but this I just can’t get out of my head. Every bass, the synth lines; everything about it is good. It even dips into some dembow which is a favorite rhythmic poison of mine. Whether you’re a dancing raver or a headbanger, “Clown Party” will suffice for your particular passion. Basstrick has put out some incredible singles in the past, but this one takes the cake. Grab a copy of it today through the digital service of your choice.

[Multi-Genre] Pierce – Hijack / Set It Off

The newly formed Bassrush Records is off to an extremely great start. After around four months of releases, we have reached the release of two singles from the Los Angeles act Pierce. Available as a free download, these two singles will surely be at the top of your bass playlists in no time.

Although the songs are differing in genre, they both share a love of bass. “Hijack” will do exactly that; takeover your speakers and never let go. It’s gritty attitude and booming basses will leave you floored from headbanging or dancing too hard. Then comes “Set It Off” whose tone is much lighter than the A-track. However, just because the mood is lighter doesn’t mean the bass is as this midtempo tune is as heavy as the first. Moombahcore lovers will be grooving hard to this one and it’s throwback sound. Stream them both now and don’t forget to download them. Keep your dollars, these are on the house thanks to Bassrush.

Buku’s “Front to Back” has already received a remix treatment from Bassnectar, but today we present to you another take on the Spinnin single. Stylust Beats has come through the dojo to give you a first listen to his own flip in this Music Ninja Premiere.

If you happen to be a fan of driving basslines, then this newly formatted “Front to Back” is going to please your ears. Stylust Beats gets things going with a quickness and doesn’t pull back the energy much until the end. Things do dip for a short period so you you can catch your breath and get yourself ready to continue to dance your pants off or headbang, whichever you prefer. ZEKE BEATS has always had some interesting music to share. Recently, the Australian came out with the four track EP entitled Dispatch. With other worldly sounds, ZEKE BEATS was able to put together one of the coolest projects this year. That’s no joke, in fact we’re going to link you to the digital services right now, where you can add these stunning tunes to your digital library. You’ll want it.

Dispatch is a journey to new fronts for bass music. There’s always been a huge spectrum of just how experimental or not bass music can be. This EP has the perfect blend of each side; some non-conventional sounds mixed in with a whole lot of accessibility. For whatever reason, there is a lot of groundbreaking music coming out of Australia and ZEKE BEATS is and has been a pillar in that community. Space age bass meets new wave trap throughout this EP, with each song breaking off a different slice of sounds. If we were to go out on a leap, we’d say “Payload” is the favorite, but even we’re not sure. Check out the EP and try and pick yours!
