If you’re an up and coming vocalist, picking the right producer for a remix is crucial. Franke did the right thing and tapped ZAXX for a flip that is going to blow you away like it did us.

You know when you have a great song, then you get to the end and something just comes in and wrecks your mind in the best way possible? That’s exactly what happens here. ZAXX made all the right moves from start to finish on this record and it shows in the result. “Bad Tattoo” went from a catchy, poppy hip-hop hit to an unforgettable bass track that could be two songs in one if ZAXX wanted to split things up, but he trusted his gut for this next level take.

Top Bunk is pure unadulterated energy. “Figure It Out” has all the right sounds, taking from numerous sources and blending them together in a beautifully playful, yet deep record. Kicking off their project with this was perfect, it’s a huge first step to establish just who they are and how unique they are. If you’re a fan of cinematic sounds and heavy hitting drops, then Far Out has some music for you. “Rise” is the perfect bridge between something you’d hear in a Hans Zimmer score and something you’d dance to at an EDM festival. The duo’s name is well-deserving, as their music is definitely far out.

The song starts out slow with just a simple, ambient piano progression, but soon enough, strings and drums make their way in. During the buildup, the song starts to make a transition from classical instruments to electronic ones, and by the drop, you’re listening to a culmination of it all. Filled with vibrant synths and hard-hitting drums, the drop hurtles you into a musical euphoria. Far Out’s unique style and incredible production skills makes them a duo that should definitely be on your radar. When two genuine artists get together, great things happen. That’s just what went down with Aire Atlantica and Tzar. After the NYC producer moved to Los Angeles, this was one of the first songs he wrote and after enlisting Tzar with her beautifully honest performance, we got the illustrious “Things I Hate About U” as it stands today.
