After going through the endless amount of reposts on Soundcloud, we happened to come across a track from awhile back (completely forgetting how unbelievably perfect it was) and were reminded why we reposted this song in the first place. Los Angeles producer, Nico Stadi revived our news feed with easily one of the most hard-hitting House anthems to rattle the faults of Southern California. Stadi’s new tune, “Break” welcomes us with some heavy chopped synths (reverb on the side), a massive build full of fiery tension, and an aggressive breakdown that sends us straight into overdrive. So if you’re just now getting ready to hit the streets with your friends, then you better be blasting this as loud as your speakers can go because Nico Stadi is about to make you break a sweat.

One of the great finds of the day belongs to Aten Rays, a New York-based producer who specializes in being exploratory with new electronic elements and samples.

The tune starts off with this creepy humming chant, which is later used as a sample throughout the song. When the beat comes in, it helps create this abrupt house environment with the minimalist beat. The beat is well thought out and put together, and just when you think it’s about to get more complex, the breakdown part comes in with the reoccurring voice chant sample. This tune has an overall mystical and mysterious feel to it, resembling some of the work by Mr. Carmack. Go give it a listen and see if you can dig it!

Future Classic just keeps pumping out music that’s just way ahead of our time (literally). After an incredible response from Seekae‘s last tune, “Test & Recognise”, a remix from the legendary Flume himself, and an incredible interpretation about that remix from our fellow ninja master, Clayton, the young Aussie is becoming an unstoppable force to reckon with. Less than a day ago, the Future Classic rising gem released a haunting new original titled, “Monster” off his new album, The Worry. Seekae really took his production to the next level with this mellow, yet ghostly masterpiece. “Monster” intricately paints an eerie story full of vivid imagery, internal monsters, and an eerie voice leading us to a certain darkness. This elusive track sends us straight to the monster himself.

Caribou‘s return has been absolutely magnificent. Earlier today, on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio One mix, Daphni, the alter-ego of Caribou’s Dan Snaith, made his first return remixing the title track from the forthcoming album. While the original version of “Our Love” already holds a distinct dance feel, Daphni rearranges the bass-line and vocal sample to give it more of an underground, UK garage feel. Spanning over 7-minutes, this remix captivates the listener with its steady progression. Give this one a spin above–Our Love is out digitally on September 15h and can be pre-ordered via iTunes now.

The ninjas are out on the prowl and we just keep searching deeper and deeper into the cloud only to find you the talent that deserves to be recognized. With only 1 song, 58 followers, and roughly 1,600 plays in five days, Vienna producer KYLN hasn’t quite lit that flame…until now. After perusing through endless amounts of sounds from all over, we stumbled upon his one and only remix of Son Lux’s “Easy”, and needless to say, he gave us exactly what we want to hear at this time of day. Combining such deep rhythms with melodic elements, KYLN creates an aesthetically atmospheric setting for all of us to zone out and get lost in the moment. It is evident that he has many sources of inspiration including Hip-Hop, Soul, Indie, and Electronic music; KYLN merges these different sounds together and turned “Easy” into a the type of song that makes you want to sit outside at 4 in the morning and ponder your surroundings. 16 year old bass sensation P A T H has returned to TMN with another well thought out, groovy and glitched remix; this time of Jacuzzi’s “Curtain Call”. Coming off of an impressive and completely innovative rendition of Kimbra’s pop smash “Settle Down”, the Vermont native turns in another tune with a sound you would think to be beyond his years. An air of euphoria fills the tune from its onset of muted pads down to the first breath of dreamy string arrangements, and we just couldn’t seem to wrap our heads around its subtle intricacies with just one listen. Which is why it’s been on repeat at this writer’s desk for about twenty minutes now. And sticking to his altruistic record with his music, P A T H is giving this one away for free on FB here.
