[Electronic] Record Record presents: Filet Mignon 5

Very few things this year will be as grand as Filet Mignon 5 from Record Record. Not only is it a massive compilation with a total of sixteen tracks, but it’s out as a free download. No gate, no bull, just free music from the French label.

For fans of music with identity, this is a treasure chest full of jewels. There isn’t a single bad song on this project, which is tough to come by even when someone is putting out an EP. Filet Mignon 5 is so much more than that with works from Acaer, Born Dirty, Aazar and so many more. If you sleep on this one, you’re only hurting yourself. Record Record pulled out all the stops when curating this LP.

[Music Video] Taylor Grey – MIAMI ft. Spencer Kane

Taylor Grey is making all the right moves. The Northern Californian is only gaining speed with each step she takes to the top of the music industry. Her latest comes in the form of a music video for her single “MIAMI” with Spencer Kane.

As we said before, the future pop song is a guilty pleasure of ours. Now instead of simply listening, we can catch Taylor and Spencer in visual form performing the song. Some background dancers and the setting of a bad ass house make this one visually appealing. It’s shots are quite minimal, but each scene strikes the eyes in a different pleasureful way. If you haven’t copped the single yet, do so on iTunes.

We want to start this post off by stating the obvious, that “GOLD” is gold. The collaboration between JOHN.k and Ricky Remedy is an undeniable jam. If you express that you don’t like it then you are just lying to yourself.

“GOLD” has anthem written all over it. The unique future sound of the instrumental fits incredibly with JOHN.k’s soaring vocal performance that will leave you with goosebumps before the first verse even ends. After the track is over, you’ll be feeling the chills from head to toe. We’ll leave you off with this warning that upon listening, this may be the only thing you want to listen to the rest of the weekend.

[Future Bass] Egzod – Wake Up (feat. Chris Linton)

Egzod
Wake Up (feat. Chris Linton) [NCS Release]

“Wake Up” to the fact that Egzod is one of the best gems in electronic music right now. The producer’s latest release comes through NCS and features Chris Linton. Best part is that it has been released as a free download, but you can support it if you’d like as well.

Egzod can take his sound to various places, but here he delivers a future bass behemoth complete with a smashing vocal that you’re sure to be singing along to after a listen through. “Wake Up” is a bit more straightforward than Egzod’s other releases, but still has a sound that one can connect with and dance to. Like we said before, he can take his sound anywhere and this time around he goes a bit more traditional. Overall, it’s a great song that you should support despite it’s availability for free.

[Electronic] ILIVEHERE. – Won’t Let Go ft. Kalulu

ILIVEHERE.
Won't Let Go ft. Kalulu

Bitbird is one of the go-to places for beautiful electronic music. Take one of their latest releases as evidence of that. “Won’t Let Go” from ILIVEHERE. and Kalulu is a masterful original with subtle hints of future bass embedded in the production.

This single is an angelic electronic tune whose downtempo pace almost makes it feel as though time is passing by in slow motion. It takes hold of you quickly with the very first piano tones connecting to your core and then the vocal comes in to sweep you away. Every piece of this song is more than good, ILIVEHERE. and Kalulu really put something special together here. You’ll want to grab a copy of it from digital stores like we did after having a listen.
