[Denver Event Preview/Ticket Giveaway] TMN Presents: Fenech-Soler @ Lost Lake – 5/16

The U.K. based duo consisting of brothers Ross and Ben Duffy, Fenech-Soler, have supplied our highly sensitive Ninja ears with some of the most danceable, tasteful, and wistful electro-pop for years. First appearing on our hallowed pages all the way back in 2009, Fenech-Soler have fashioned an even tighter grasp on their cheery synth-pop iterations in the time since. This year, the pair have already unveiled two full releases in the form of their LP Zilla, and the appropriately titled cover EP The Covers; which both sound of a band confidently coming to terms with their sound while steadily refining it. Loaded with personality and excellent fits of experimentation, their latest releases have been straightforward, unashamed pop music fusing indie sensibilities with grandiose synths and razor-sharp electronic production that we know will play wonderfully in a live scenario. Yet another reason we are thrilled to be presenting their next live date in beautiful Denver, CO at Lost Lake Lounge.

Of course we had to get our Ninja faithful involved as well, so we’re giving away a pair of tickets rather simply and painlessly! Choirs Sing As Tchami’s Prophecy Tour Lands In Richmond [Contest]

2016 was an intense year for Confession artist and owner Tchami. The french producer embarked on a Pardon My French tour with DJ Snake, Mercer, and MALAA while throwing in plenty of festival stops of his own such as Mysteryland and Moonrise along the way. Now he’s back with Mercer for an unforgettable North American Prophecy tour .

Tchami’s infusion of hip-hop and dark future house is gracing The National in Richmond, VA on February 11th and we have a contest to help you get there along with a friend. For the San Diego leg of the tour, Matt DiMona and Wingtip would be supporting the wonder boys. While the Eternal Sun Tour is coming to your city in full force, we have GREAT news for all you SD ninjas and ninjettes.

Brooklyn based electronic-pop auteurs Jon Sandler & Luke Moellman -better known as Great Good Fine OK -first landed themselves amongst the heaps of fine music here at TMN all the way back in 2013, and have found themselves supplying our listeners time and time again with a lush brand of heartfelt, synth-driven ditties in the years since. Outside of these Ninja confines, the duo have found themselves racking up countless moments of acclaim; from music video premieres on MTV, features in Billboard, and appearances at some of the world’s most notable festivals, GGFO have established themselves as a forceful live act blessed with the ability to fill eager rooms wherever their sound careens through a loaded set of live monitors.

Great Good Fine OK find themselves marching into 2017 armed with a new EP, III , (stream “Take It Or Leave It” & “Always” from III below) which lead vocalist/songwriter Jon Sandler noted as housing “…some of the best songs we’ve ever written…”, a hefty upcoming North American tour, and a more polished, mature aesthetic. This happens all the time, but not always are you going to get the chance to see Feint and Varien open for the headlining Fox Stevenson. These three heavy hitters are taking over New York’s hot stop and they’re offering you the chance to get in free.

In a little under three years, Australian wunderkind producer Hayden James has ushered in an entire new wave of listeners into the electronic music arena. When we first heard Hayden James‘ debut single “Permission to Love” on tastemaking imprint Future Classic three years ago, we had a feeling the up ‘n comer was onto something special. After a string of incredibly well received releases including an excellent self-titled EP, and two of the more viral singles we’ve seen in years in “Something About You” & “Just A Lover”, Hayden James is poised to tackle yet another lengthy live tour, and we couldn’t be more excited to help bring his house-leaning, groove-driven sound to Denver this Saturday at the Larimer Lounge.

[Denver Event Preview/Ticket Giveaway] TMN Presents: Dance Yourself Clean – ‘An Indie-Pop Dance Party’

It’s that time again Denver! The amazing Seattle/L.A. club night turned nationally touring dance party, Dance Yourself Clean, is touching down again this Saturday, October 1st at the Larimer Lounge, as part of their Fall ’16 tour,and we’re beyond prepped & stoked for yet another raucous night of depravity, beautiful people and plenty of amazing tunes. For our friends that were out for DYC’s first ever Denver stop earlier this Spring at the Marquis Theater, they can surely attest to the truly positive, palpably sweaty, and infectiously frenetic energy generated by the foggy, laser-filled indie-pop party. Bringing back the indie-dance-punk-pop days with a beautiful vengeance, DYC patrons are typically seen singing along on the dance floor, slow dancing to the latest Blood Orange or jumping up and down to their favorite LCD Soundsystem song. In their own words: “Anything goes at Dance Yourself Clean, all we ask is that you leave your expectations and inhibitions at the door, come in take a shot and get on the floor.” That sounds just about right, and we are chomping at the bit to be a part of the latest Dance Yourself Clean festivities.

So, in great anticipation for DYC’s latest Denver iteration, we’ve teamed up with the DYC crew and put together quite the tasteful little playlist in anticipation of Saturday’s party. Not to mention!
