Racing fans, start your engines! If your need for speed runs as deep as your love for EDM, there’s no better place for you to spend your Memorial Day Weekend than the Indy 500 Snake Pit with Skrillex, Martin Garrix, Zeds Dead & DJ Mustard. Our friends over at React Presents have provided us with the distinct opportunity to give away TWO tickets to this very special event during the landmark 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race on Sunday, May 29th, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Here’s how to apply; just fill in your first and last name, and enter your email address in the form below. It’s really that simple. The show is intended for audiences of all ages, but you must have a valid photo ID with you on the day of the event to redeem your prize.

All entries must be in before May 9th, when the winner will be notified by email and provided with ticket vouchers that they will have to take to the event and exchange for wristbands. The vouchers are good for entry to the speedway and will provide them with instructions on how to redeem the tickets. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the race.

[Denver Giveaway/Event Preview] The Music Ninja Presents: Day Wave @ Lost Lake – 5/3

Few acts burst out of the gates with such a far-reaching resonance like what we’ve been witness to with Oakland based troupe Day Wave, and for good reason. Cohesive and developed ensembles like Day Wave come along but once in a while in today’s highly saturated musical climate, so it’s with great excitement that we announce our next ‘The Music Ninja Presents’ concert in Denver, CO, headlined by one of the most exciting bands in any corner of the music industry. Most recently, the Jackson Philips led four-piece released their second EP Hard to Read, and after their earliest singles including “Total Zombie” and “Nothing At All”and of course the Mark Hoppus championed “Drag”, its only solidified their place near the top of countless critics’ ‘Breakout Acts of 2016’ list. On Tuesday, May 3rd at our favorite intimate venue, the Lost Lake Lounge, Day Wave bring their hazy brand of pop structured indie-rock to the Mile High City for the first time, and we’re beyond delighted to help ring them in properly with what will no doubt be a completely packed house. It seems like just yesterday we caught and interviewed Philips & Kevin Friedman’s (who is also an integral part of Day Wave’s touring band), first project Carousel, perform to about 20 people at the Walnut in Denver; so May 3rd also marks something of a sentimental show and reunion of sorts for a few of our TMN mainstays, but let’s save the nostalgia for a few weeks down the line…

Of course, it wouldn’t be a ‘TMN Presents’ night without letting our savvy readers in on the fun, so we’ll be giving away TWO pairs of tickets to this one. Entering our contest is as always, beyond easy. Vape connoisseur, producer, and DJ Brillz is currently heading around the United States for his Twonk Di Nation tour. Soon, he’ll be entering California for shows up north, as well as down south. Brillz decided to enter the dojo and offer up tickets for a few lucky fans. If you want us to get technical, we actually have two giveaways.

Brillz will be joining Party Favor and Infuze in Santa Ana on February 18th, and then San Francisco will get to enjoy Brillz with Infuze two days later on the 20th. We have a pair of tickets for both shows, because let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to see Brillz throw down for free? All you need to do is enter below for a chance to win. While much of our writing staff here at TMN is spread across the entire world, we’ve maintained an active presence in the great city of Denver for good reason. For years now some of our favorite producers, DJ’s and bands throughout countless genres have emanated from the Mile High City, and every chance we have to get behind talent which may not have quite crossed over yet to a national audience, is a special one. Inner Oceans have long been a warm staple inside of the talent-rich Denver indie scene with their brand of haunting, synth-fueled minimal indie-pop; and over the course of a few years and several live shows, we’ve seen their project blossom into one of the most exciting bands heading into 2016. In the past few weeks, the Denver based quartet have dropped a pair of singles, “These Dreams” & “Sunbathe” (both of which are included in our mini-playlist below), which both wield more of an upbeat, drum-machine assisted structure which we can tell will add another engaging layer to their already impressive live show. Needless to say, we’re excited about this one.

On Friday, 1/29, The Music Ninja is proud to present Inner Oceans’ uniquely entrancing sound at the Lost Lake lounge in Denver, CO along with the downtempo dream-pop of Plume Varia and the eclectic stylings of Lizzy Rose.
