The week is finally over, and the Friday Party Playlist is here. Let’s get things going, shall we? We start things off with Tommie Sunshine and KANDY, along with a Grant Lazo mashup of some classic records to get the mood just right for tonight. Then, we take “Uber” to the party where Kastra, Choppa Dunks, YOOK!E and more turn things up for a solid night of good tunes from both the house and bass realms. As always, every track here is available for free, so make sure once you’re done partying tonight, come back tomorrow and download them for your digital library. And remember, #danceirresponsibly.

[Festival Preview + Playlist] HARD Summer – 8/1-2 – Fairplex Pomona
Talk about a stacked lineup! Before we get to the good stuff, we hope you’ve grabbed your ticket already because tickets have long been sold out. Hard Summer Music Festival is probably one of the biggest and most popular summertime music festivals in California. It’s a must-go for electronic music enthusiasts and festival goers, considering how incredibly awesome the lineup is this year. HARD has moved their festival from Whittier Narrows to the Fairplex Southern California this year, which is great for the two-day fest because of its big capacity.
TMN is proud to be participating Hard Summer for the first time ever and we can’t tell you how excited we are. To get you mentally prepared and hyped up for this, we have compiled two playlists for each day. They feature memorable hits from electronic powerhouses like What So Not, The Glitch Mob, Ratatat, Porter Robinson, future acts including Tchami, Shiba San, Jai Wolf, and other rising artists like Hermitude, Slow Magic, Big Gigantic and many more.
Too much dopeness, yet so little time. We hope you’ve figured out your schedule because it’ll be a tough time for all the music fans to watch all your favorite artists. We suggest downloading the Hard Summer app to take a look at the set times so you don’t get lost in the middle of the five stages.
Vibe away to these tracks and we hope see you ninjas and ninjettes there!

[Get Crunk] Friday Party Playlist (Vol 157)
Party people, congregate; the weekend is here! Along with this weekend comes the 157th edition of the Friday Party Playlist, topped off with works from Tisoki, Trentino, DJ Drew and the one and only Space Laces. As the Summer heat continues to turn up, so do we. Although this playlists starts out on the chiller side, things get steadily energized until the very last song. May your weekend be blessed with those close to you, maybe a little tequila for today’s holiday, and some quality music. But, we have you covered on that last bit. #danceirresponsibly

[Event Preview + Playlist] HARD Red Rocks – 7/30 – Red Rocks Amphitheater
Most of the time, we start off these event previews by trying to get you excited for the show. However, today is a little bit different, as we know tickets are damn near sold out. So, before you dive in, click here to buy tickets, before it’s too late!
Now that we have that out of the way, we can tell you all the usual things. First up, as always with shows at Red Rocks, if you’ve never been to a show at this venue, now is the time. Any true concert junky will tell you that this amphitheater should be on your bucket list, and with good reason. The combination of natural beauty and stunning acoustics are second to none. (Yes, we’re looking at you in the Pacific Northwest. The Gorge is great, but not this great).
Secondly, this year’s HARD Red Rocks is stacked top to bottom. Leading things off is one of our favorite Denver musicians, option4, who we just featured as our Resident Artist of the Month. From there, the list is almost too good to believe, including acts like Destructo, Branchez, Porter Robinson, Glitch Mob, and Dog Blood, who will wrap the evening up. That last sentence should be a strong indiciation as to why this will sell out soon.
To celebrate next week’s epic event, we’ve thrown together the perfect playlist to throw on during your drive up to the venue, featuring multiple tracks from each artist.

[Dance/Electronica] SMLE – Every Chance You Get
Every Chance You Get
SMLE is a duo we’ve fallen head over heels for in the last year or so. We’ve featured and heavily consumed pretty much their entire catalog of remixes from their cover of Michael Bublé’s “Feeling Good” to most recently having the pleasure of premiering their remix of Vaults’ “One Last Night” just a few weeks ago, as well as loads in between; and I think it’s pretty safe to say much of our eclectic staff has happy devoured at least a slice of SMLE’s repertoire in the process. Today, SMLE moves forward in a big way, in essence, from scratch after completely wiping out their Soundcloud and starting fresh with all new original music. “Every Chance You Get” -a tune encapsulating all of that previous success behind layers of analog instrumentation in the form of funky guitar lines, a vibrant synth progression and a booming underbelly- is the first to surface from SMLE 2.0, and a great one at that. On top of that, everything put out by the pair is performed and recorded live which is a breath of fresh air in today’s overly saturated dance climate, and we’ve been skipping gleefully to their new incarnation from the moment we came into contact with it. Do your ears a favor, and stream “Every Chance You Get” above.
[Moombahcore] Brig – Bad
Bad
Moombahton and an ungodly amount of bass together? Sounds too good to be true, but it’s not. One new example of the sound comes to us from the Russian pirate producer Brig. “Bad” is his latest single, which comes as a free download from Daily Earfood. Brig fires off a ton of calculated sounds in a complex arrangement that flow together seamlessly. Get your drunken swashbuckling on by raging your face off to this masterful midtempo monster. If you think your mixtape is fire, this single is a hundred times more flaming. Brig goes all out with the result being one insanely “Bad” record. There’s no need to turn up the bass, as this is already stocked full, but do turn up the volume for max effect.
[Future Funk] WillDABeast ft. Steezy Deezy – One of Those Daze
One of Those Daze (Bassdrop Music Release)
Looking to slow things down and get funky? Look no further than “One of Those Daze.” WillDABeast, who’s collaborated with the likes of GRiZ, teamed up with Steezy Deezy for a juicy concoction of old-school samples, ripe beats and live elements including horns, trumpet, guitar and more. Since these cats do put on real, live shows, this full band experience can be had in real life, as opposed to URL. Either way, it’s a magical production that will make you feel as though you did ingest something to get in a daze. Bassdrop Music backed this song and released it a few weeks ago. Today, we share it with you to get your weekend going in the right direction. For those of you looking to hear this live, check out WillDABeast’s tour schedule.
