Let the weekend officially begin! Let the pre-gaming ensue, with partying planned deep in the night. Let your night roll just as the current Friday Party Playlist does, with energy building until its time to close out. We can only hope your night ends just as this does with “No Panties,” too. Before that, you have a whole night to get through, with a whole gang of tunes from artists like Said The Sky, Jantsen with Dirt Monkey, Bad Catholics and Trapzillas. All of these tunes come for free, as usual, but this time tracks have been taken from rosters by Kairos Audio, Buygore, Main Course and CAPS LOCK CREW. #danceirresponsibly

[Get Crunk] Friday Party Playlist (Vol 146)
Friday! We both cherish and honor you. In order to cherish and honor, we must party, because that’s just how things work. Part of the party is the music, of course, which is why us ninjas are back with yet another Get Crunk Friday playlist. A diversified dozen of gems have been taken from several musical backgrounds and brought forth to you here in one prodigious package. Consume them all to any degree that you like, and remember: they’re all free downloads. Lastly, but certainly not least, #danceirresponsibly.
Let’s make it a baker’s dozen, shall we?
[Future Trap] Terra – Birthday Beauty (Party Platypus Remix)
Birthday Beauty (Party Platypus Remix)
Here’s a track to ease your daily struggles. Little is known about Party Platypus, but the mysterious producer sure knows how to bring out the fun in everybody. Stripping Terra‘s “Birthday Beauty” to bare bones, Party Platypus dresses it up with a trap beat and clever samples.
The same sample is echoed throughout the whole track, and is tweaked each time around with more samples for more excitement. The chipmunked vocals and other crafty maneuvers are fused to create a sound resembling Trippy Turtle and Wave Racer. The upbeat and loosening vibe makes it one of those tunes you won’t ever get tired of listening to. Maybe he’s an actual animal producer, or maybe it’s just his moniker. But what we do know is that Party Platypus will make your day that much better with this lovely jam.
[Chill/Glitch] Wet Paint – Limitless (Kaptain Remix)
Limitless (Kaptain Remix)
Something sweet just came in the Soundcloud pipelines late last night. The Bay Area resident, Kaptain, uploaded his official remix of “Limitless” for Wet Paint. Kaptain’s chill bass masterpiece is a little different from his usual works, which are generally more on the funky side. His take on “Limitless” has got some groove, but it’s much more of a vibey track than a dance one. Everything on this track goes down smooth, including the free download that is available. Kaptain put together a super solid remix of a track that doesn’t seem like it would be the easiest thing to flip, but no matter, he does so with ease. Expect more goodies from this guy soon, as he is certainly one of the producers to watch in the glitch/future funk game.
[Future Funk] Wet Paint – Showstopper
Showstopper
“Showstopper” is the newest single from the funk brothers James Gaudet and Dan Shanahan who go by Wet Paint. Their works like “Gold Lights” and their remix of “Spotless Mind” have already proved to the world that these two are here in a big way and they are bringing some special talents to the table. Their latest work, released for free by Otodayo Records, may just be their best song yet too. If you came to us and said this wasn’t your thing, we’d have a hard time believing you. I mean for one, who doesn’t like funk? Secondly, although this is branded as future funk, the sound caters to fans of glitch, electro and moombah to various degrees. “Showstopper” has been released in anticipation for a small tour that the two are embarking on. If you would like to see dates and purchase tickets, you can head to their Facebook page.
