Everything that has to do with “The Upside Down” is on point. From its creators – a mega collaboration between Wolfgang Gartner and Jaykode – to the song itself to the artwork; everything comes together in a nice ravaging package.

“The Upside Down” implores some throwback electro house characteristics while each artist playfully infuses their own sentiments in the mix. From the start it’s a big record and it only grows as it develops in time. There’s a little surprise, you’ll have to just hear it though. Play it all the way and more than once – this one is fire through and through.

It’s not often you get to debut your musical act at EDC Las Vegas, but that’s just what Birthdayy Partyy did. Since their launch in January of this year they’ve been on an impressive rise, releasing an insane amount of tracks and getting booked at not only EDC already, but Spring Awakening as well.

After playing their set at the Corona Beach stage, the twin brothers went ahead and released a dance-driven remix of “Hollaback Girl” by Gwen Stefani. Safe to say, this one is bananas. As if that wasn’t enough, just two weeks later they dropped a hot flip of Bassnectar’s classic “Bass Head” which is no easy feat to remix. If you ask us, we’re going to have to say they succeeded in remodeling the record to their own likeness. Grab both free downloads today!

One of bass music’s brighter gems in 8Er$ has just graced Firepower Records with an EP. His four track EP, The Golden Axe, will chop your speakers up with its sharp bassy edge that can be found throughout the varying genres expressed in this project.

The Golden Axe starts off awesomely with “Awesome,” a record that pays homage to early 2010’s dubstep while blending the style with its 2018 counterpart. Next 8Er$ switches things up with the bass house single “RRR” that may be our favorite song on the EP. Holly joins in the fun with his collaboration on “Flushin” that exhibits a syruppy, slow hybrid sound. Lastly, we reach the final single that just so happens to be the title track. As the title track, it closes The Golden Axe out perfectly with a maniacal composition. Add The Golden Axe to your arsenal today.
