[Moombah/Trap] U4EUH – This Is A Robbery
This Is A Robbery
We know what you are thinking, “How in tarnation can moombah be mixed with trap?” Thankfully the Bay Area’s U4EUH decided to fuse the two genres in a distinct manner, instead of making something ridiculous and calling it both. His track “This Is A Robbery” first tends to your moombahcore desires with a wild first chorus section that will blow your mind away. Next, he switches things up by cutting time and getting gritty. His sound design is something that sticks out, on top of the fact that weaved into the arrangement are various samples taken from the outstanding flick Pulp Fiction. Even better, you won’t have to try and steal this song off the internet somewhere; you can simply download it for free.
[Moombah] Jay Fay – It’s You (feat. Jessica Vox)
It's You (Feat. Jessica Vox)
Hats off to Jay Fay who just dropped a moombah bomb on the world today. I would say rest in peace, but instead of killing, all this explosion will cause is ravers to go bonkers. “It’s You” plays with the more electro side of the genre, with vocals being provided by Jessica Vox of Miami. Moombahcore records like this don’t come by often anymore, but there is the commencement of some new life within the 110 world. Jay Fay will no doubt contribute to that, since he was one of the guys who originally got some of us ninjas into the genre a few years ago. “It’s You” is a fresh reminder that 110 is not a bad place to be producing records at. In kind spirit, Jay is dishing this original out for free.
[Moombah] Tiga – Bugatti (Gorilla Bass Remix)
Bugatti (Gorilla Bass Remix)
Gorilla Bass is back with another intriguing listen. Another remix, this time of “Bugatti” by Tiga gets turned out into a moombah gem. It’s like moombahcore meets tech, which makes for quite an aural experience. A fat bassline with a some solid dembow will always have people moving, but Gorilla Bass went on and managed to do more than just put those two elements together and copout for an easy song. His take on the song is creative and is much more involved than one thinks, even after having a listen. The remix has been released for free, so if you find your body moving along to the beat, go on and download it here.

[Chill] Tinashe – 2 On X Rare Earth (Flight Mix)
2 On X Rare Earth (Flight Mix)
Call it a remix, call it a mashup; we call it a smash hit. Dubbel Dutch is the Platform 9¾ of the Internet: You have to know exactly where to look to find what you really want. While other bloggers are running full speed into a wall, allow us to bring you one of the best kept secrets of the electronic music scene. Just when you thought you had enough “2 On” remixes, you are dead wrong. Dubbel Dutch released the “Rare Earth” instrumental about a year ago and it did well on its own; however there’s no denying it takes on a whole new sound when matched with the star power of Tinashe. The Brooklynite recently released a handful in this Hyperwine remix series; however this might be the best as it takes on so many different sounds in one, I can’t even think of a proper genre for this. If you like your Top 40 with a bit of flair, this is your song.
