[Anthem] Flux Pavilion – Blow The Roof

This is one of the biggest Dubstep tracks of the year. Flux Pavilion is no stranger to dropping anthems and this track features a funky sound design that should have your feet moving and head banging for days to come. It should be on Flux’s upcoming album due to come out some time next year. This was ripped from Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. I first saw this massive tune dropped by Datsik and Flux at EDC this year, and later by Dillon Francis. All that really needs to be said is, new Dillon Francis remix. I could stop writing now but wheres the fun in that, Dillon really kills this one though. Nicky Romero and NERVO was already an incredible collab, so throwing Dillon in the mix, it’s bound to be hectic. He throws down his funky sounds and wobbles that transform this big House track into hard hitting banger. No news on the release but should be in the next couple weeks. Cheers.

[Moombah-Swing] The McMash Clan – Swing Break feat Kate Mullins

Moombah-swing? Yep, you read right, it’s a thing. Well if it wasn’t before, after this track from The McMash Clan, it certainly is now. The producer trio from London bring us a clash of sounds from the past and the present to create something incredibly fresh. It’s a bold move to take drum samples, brass elements and catchy vocals reminiscent of the 30’s era and combine them with lazer synths and heavy moombahcore drops of modern day electronic music, but boy does this crazy concoction work! One moment you find yourself clicking your fingers and kicking out your legs as if swing was the dance you were born to do, and the next your body is jumping up and down under the control of that crazy bass. It’s ironic that when we’re looking for new innovations in modern dance music, there is so much potential in the styles of the past. This one is an absolute gem. Hit play and let your body move in whatever way it so chooses.

You must listen to this massive remix all the way through. Victor Niglio transforms this Dirty Dutch anthem into a brain scrambling high intensity thrill ride. Tweaking each drop differently while still maintaining the orignal sound and incredibly hard hitting bass line. The first two Moombah drops are filthy, but the last Trap drop is just mind boggling. [Event] Sound Remedy at The Absinthe House

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months there is no excuse for being unfamiliar with Sound Remedy. Sound Remedy, a TMN favorite and master remixer hailing from Los Angeles, is making his way to Boulder, Colorado performing for the first time at The Absinthe House on November 7th. Along with Sound Remedy the event will also feature sets from Dirt Monkey, AMB, Papa Skunk & Oddly Even. The event is being thrown in honor of Moombroton.com’s one year anniversary as well as the launch for Monark Clothing’s newest winter clothing line. This event is one of the few nights The Absinthe House opens its doors to 18+ so if you’re in the Denver/Boulder area this is not something you want to miss out on!
