LA-based producer NGHTMRE just dropped this much anticipated remix of a Charlie Darker track titled “Guns For Hire”, and he’s definitely holding it down for all the club bangers and making a name for himself. Incorporating trap and dance into Charlie Darker’s electro-house goodness, NGHTMRE is definitely in his element. The buildup will leave you wanting more and more, and the epic drops will make you dance your pants off. It’s unique, catchy and the hard-hitting bass just seals the deal for everybody. Talk about a turn up jam!

Call me a psychic, but very soon you will probably hear this song at every club you go to. Needless to say, we would want to see more of this talented producer.

Odesza‘s “Say My Name” has officially become one of the most remixed tunes ever since it came out alongside their In Return album. Everybody wants a piece of this delicious cake but not everyone gets a hold of its essence. Slow Magic‘s take on the song is probably, in our opinion, one of the best versions out there.

Featuring his very own father on the guitar solo, Slow Magic manages to put in his own twist to the already amazing collaboration. It starts off with his sweet signature piano chords, with the original chorus fading in the background. When the beat drops, it’s everything Slow Magic represents. The epic synths, the hardhitting drums and the killer guitar solo steal the spotlight for this remix while crediting the original tune. So much is put into the production of this rework that we can’t help but admire these talented musicians whose styles compliment each other so well. It’s been a bit since we’ve featured one of our favorite burgeoning artists and one of the leading faces of these laid back Tropical House vibes which have so heavily been permeating dance blogs everywhere, Thomas Jack, and the moment we heard the opening bars of his latest remix we knew our Ninjas had to get on the train as well. Taking form behind a punchy kick-line, stabby violin progression and actual self-recorded waves from the beaches of Tulum, Jack’s revisioning of Ben Sollee strays a bit from what has become his signature tropical sound of modulated pan flutes and airy synths, rather opting for a deeper, longing and almost melancholy atmosphere this time around. Thomas Jack continues to be one of the few electronic artists constantly pushing their sound forward, which is also the reason we’ve found ourselves writing about most everything that emanates from his pristine catalog. It’s hard to imagine the Australian wunderkind will be giving away his music for free for much longer so get on it, grab the free download from his Facebook page, sit back, and let those lush, chilled, housey vibes wash over you.

On paper, matching the smooth soul sounds of Odd Future offshoot The Internet with a forward thinking house beat sounds like a match made in dance-head heaven. As to why we haven’t seen more of it, we’re not exactly sure, but Denver based house duo Need & Necessity have taken all the trouble out of the job and come through with one of their most accessible, catchy edits yet. Coming off of “This Life”, their last original recording, Need & Necessity’s take on “Dontcha” carries with it a rare playability. Whether it’s casually jamming out in your car or on a booming club stack this one has the type of shiny appeal to touch the most ardent of house fans to casual listeners alike. A loungey, almost jazz club vibe is upped through the malleable execution of a rolling, deep bass line which rides along infectiously under The Internet’s sultry original vocal, resulting in a polished dance tune that we’ve been religiously looping all afternoon. After first debuting here on TMN with “Thumpin” back in April, 18 year old house stunner Sylent Efx returns with yet another eerily mature portion of dance music with the Kanye West sampling “Wonder” (which itself was actually sampled from Labi Siffre’s “My Song” for a quick history lesson). While this young spark plug may not quite be known globally just yet, his latest tune which comes to the world in the form of a ‘TMN Premiere’, has already seemed to have taken on a life of its own. After being aurally debuted on the almighty Ministry of Sound Radio via an option4 guest mix all the way back in July; we’ve already had the pleasure of hearing some of our favorite DJ’s and producers playing this one out through some heavy club monitors and have been waiting not so patiently to drop it since. The real allurement on this one comes by way of an irresistible, swinging piano hook propped up by a scampering hi-hat shuffle and of course that classic vocal snippet. These elements collide together like chamomile and cream; again signaling Sylent Efx’s welcome arrival on the house music block and not only a dance, but overall musical sophistication clearly lacking amongst the droves of bedroom producers authoring blog hits these days. Roses and Revolutions have one of the more radio-ready sounds we’ve heard in quite some time. Singer/Songwriter Alyssa Coco has a voice that’s seems like it’s been refined over decades of professional experience, seemingly flawless in her execution.

While this NY indie rock duo might have a sound suited for top-40, they’re certainly crossing over journalistic planes with this recent collaboration. Calling on fellow New Yorker Clementine and the Galaxy, Coco and bandmate Matt Merrit have been given a electronic makeover, rife with a synth heavy melody and dancy beat worthy of the stingiest of indie bloggers.

We’ve always had an affinity for both the popular, and the obscure, which is why we’re always overjoyed to see unique collaborations. In this instance, these two styles are fused together to provide us with a grin-inducing tune to carry us this Tuesday.

Another week, another Chainsmokers post but I promise you this one is well worth your while. “Kanye” has been the self-empowerment song of the summer, and it certainly slaps too. If the original didn’t inspire you enough, it certainly did for Almond & Samme, two upcoming producers who make their Ninja debut tonight. Although this isn’t the first time the two have teamed up, as Yeezus himself would say, this one is God level. With festival season just starting up down south in hotbeds like Australia, Brazil, and the South Pacific, look for this energetic, upbeat edit to pick up some serious steam and support. What may sound like stereotypical progressive house melodies on the surface turns out to be extremely intricate and those vocal chops at the end are something else. Be like Kanye and jam out to this one time.
