Everyone already knows NGHTMRE can make musical magic. Whether it’s with an original or, especially a remix, the Los Angeles producer manages to move listeners with his creations. NGHTMRE’s latest reinterpretation, this time being of “Limelight” by Just A Gent and R O Z E S, is an interesting listen.

It’s definitely trappy, but the introduction leaves you ready for anything as it is essentially only an atmosphere. Then, the drop comes in and one of the more intriguing synth lines we’ve heard comes in to take things up and away. Well, to be honest, there’s more than just one synth, but you’ll know which one we’re referring to. All together, this new version of “Limelight” is a mighty record that you’re sure to be hearing more of in the next few months if you hit up events. Careful now, before Lektrique and company blow your speakers up with the ΩMEGA EP that dropped today on Kannibalen Records. Although he is one of the more underrated electro/bass producers out there, he’s a producer who manages to spice things up regardless of the genre he takes on. His original “ΩMEGA” is a monstrously heavy electro house tune that is just as catchy as it is big. Alongside the original are three remixes of varying styles. LUMBERJVCK goes absolutely bonkers on his hybrid take that is the definition of fire. Our Time dish out a memorable drumstep anthem whose second drop will disintegrate you in an instant. Andy’s iLL comes in the closing slot with his trapped out remix that jumps around between a couple different sounds. After quite recently reaching #1 on Hypem, Prince Fox is already back with more. His 25K celebration was thunderous, but this time he comes baring an official remix for SNBRN of “Raindrops.” Ultra is releasing the track today, and we have the chance of premiering it to you.

Prince Fox has a knack for flipping tracks; more so than a lot of producers out there. Not only is he able to deliver top quality tracks time and time again, but he is able to put his sonic stamp on everything. You know when it’s a Prince Fox track, and they don’t age one second. As a writer whom prides their body of work not just on the quality utilization of adjectives and similes, but also on the timely manner in which you can deliver a strong, cohesive article before anyone else; it is always a special moment when one of our favorite producers posts a full tune on Soundcloud at the drop of a hat. In this case, our artist in question is the irresistible L.O.O.P., another welcome face amongst a rapidly skyrocketing Brazilian underground dance scene that boasts names like Vintage Culture, Malik Mustache and more- and our remix comes on Anton Ishutin’s Tasteful House featuring single/EP “Cold As Ice” which dropped just over an hour ago. The week just started and we already have ourselves one of the dopest records to show with SKULS‘ Rip of “Insane” by Flume. His collaboration with Moon Holiday got tastefully trapped out by the Bay Area act. Throughout the four and a half minutes, you are taken through four chorus sections, with the one and third being similar, and the other two sporting different qualities that change things up for varied vibes. SKULS is an act that has put out a lot of extremely good songs, and this is one that blows us away even by SKUL standards. It’s got a sound that works for large crowds, but it’s not an in your face with energy type of track. They played it cool and were still able to manage something with a big sound. If you don’t already follow these two on Soundcloud, you best start now.

Lido and Chance the Rapper‘s The Social Experiment band already proved that they’re a match made in heaven on their collab with Towkio earlier this month. Today, the forward-thinking combo return with a remix of Jeremih‘s “Planes” that only they could create. For the first few minutes, Lido lays down a textured, dynamic backdrop for Jeremih’s silky vocals that builds into a soulful break that, when accompanied with The Social Experiment’s signature horns, creates a uniquely jazzy, electronic-infused vibe. Chance drops in for the last minute with a verse that’s as on-point and clever as ever addressing lady problems in a way that oscillates between emotions effortlessly. This one’s perfect for your Saturday morning. We certainly hope there’s some more coming from these guys but this should do just fine to hold us over in the meantime.
