This will be a quick one. There was really only one noteworthy song on last nights episode Chuck Vs The American Hero. The music that was playing when chuck was professing his heart to Sarah is titled Down River by the famous rock/post-punk revival band The Temper Trap of their Conditions albums (To many regards as being in the top 10 albums to come out in 2009). [Soundtrack] Chuck season 3 Soundtrack Episode 11: Versus the Final Exam
Awesome episode for Chuck Fans! and more importantly for music fans as well. The latest episode of season 3’s Chuck featured music soundtrack by relatively fresh new songs from indie/upcoming artists Rogue Wave and Austin Hartley-Leonard & Kendall Jane Meade.
What conflict surrounds him on Episode 11 Chuck Vs The Final Exam? Well as any student trying to become a master in the craft, the final exam represents the last and ultimate obstacle he needs to conquer in order to become a spy. At the end of the episode Chuck does become a spy… but is he a real spy? Only the ones who have watched last nights episode will know!
When Chuck drops buy the Orange Orange store to talk with Sarah about dinner, the song playing in the background is Permalight by rock/Lo-Fi Californian band called Rogue Wave. This electronic rock/pop tune comes off their latest album sharing sames with the song itself, ‘Permalight’.
and just as a BONUS I have included Rogue Wave’s Good Morning also off their ‘Permalight’ which was released 2nd of March.
Bonus: Rogue Wave -Good Moring [THIS WAS NOT ON THE EPISODE]
And quite frankly what is Chuck without some soft and warm, completely mellow song in the mist of any sad conversation Chuck and Sarah may have? While predictable as it may be, the music being used is what makes these moments all the more frustrating special. The very delicate soundtrack song playing in Episode 11 was sung by Austin Hartley-Leonard & Kendall Jane Meade titled ‘In My Sleep’.

And I think there might have been one more song when Sarah gives Chuck his mission for the first time: Daryl Hall & John Oates – Private Eyes but still not sure. Please confirm?
[Office Music] Clockwork – Office Musik (Dwight K. Shrute Vs. Weezy F. Baby)
Found this song on a great brazilian music blog oBarulho.com and I couldnt resist but to post it rightaway. I was about to post 5-10 mash ups today but decided they were not worth it. The only one that is really AMAZING is this beautiful blend of the recognizable ‘The Office’ soundtrack song and Lil Wayne. Unlike the rest in the batch I had, Clockwork does not try to make this the next party club mix nor does he go over the top by adding extra layers of beats… he simply keeps it simple.. which in most cases, its the best way to go. Please support our friends at oBarulho.com and check them out.

The Traditionist – A Sleep Be Told
And lastly, I am sure this one you all have been waiting to hear again. The last song of most episodes are always the defining song that pretty much sums up the mood of the entire episode. While you know who, tells you know what to you know who.. lol the last song is by Daniel Zott called ‘Living a Lie’.

[Remix] Ennio Morricone – L'Estasi Dell'Oro (Bandini Remix)
Ennio Morricone is an Italian composer and conductor. He has composed and arranged scores for more than 500 film and television productions. Dj Bandini grabbed Morricone’s L’Estasi Dell’Oro from The Good The Bad and The Ugly soundtrack and added a couple of subtle elements making the entire song sound twice as epic.
